So let me see if I understand....this guy has worked out for 6 YEARS with weights and he's a personal trainer. Now he wants us to believe that the results he got was from using a Bowflex for 6 weeks. All this guy did was eat a bunch a crap to add fat so that he looked out of shape. Then he trained for 6 weeks AND stopped eating crap and then lost the weight that he gained so he could bullshit everyone.. Not saying Bowflex won't help you, but this guy is all bullshit.
LMAO! Bowflex salesman sucks! Maybe he'd be more convincing if he actually worked out and didn't use fake pics, and then popped testosterone pills for that gay ass pussy voice of his.
Hey, I'm having some problems with the leg press. I prefer the leg press, over the squat, because, with the squat, I'm also squatting my own body weight, which is free weights, and the power rods are much better than free weights. The problem is, I keep sliding off the damned seat! If I put the cables on my waist, with a leg press belt, I slide off the seat. If I hook the cables to the side of the seat, the seat comes out from under me. What do I do?
why do you still look fat compare to your "photos"...that transition takes months not weeks to reach that go...bowflex works it take about two months before you really notice results, diet is %70 of the route to good health..
This guy is a joke!! Thos photos are not him, they are photshopped. Look at his face in the pictures of him being all ripped. The face, neck and body don't match up. Another thing, why is he only sitting down during his "review"???? By the way, why does he still have a double chin? LOLOLOL...FAKE!!! Hit the weight room, drink protein shakes and add creatine!!!! hahahahahahaha

Notice how in his "after shots" he looks younger and has a thinner face. I bet you anything those were pics of him like 10 years ago when he was in his early 20s. His "before shots" are in fact what he looks like now. Fat, slouching, and bloated face. - typical characteristics of middle aged men. This douche, which you guys so much like to call him, would not have been able to correct his slouch and thin out his face in 6 weeks. He is a paid o say this crap and these results are fake!
Wow.. I love how these fags in videos like this give you "coupon codes" Which are total bullshit... That code is so he gets paid... Everytime someone enters those "coupon codes" it lets bowflex know that this douche sent them that customer.. So he gets paid.... gay
The biggest OBJECTIVE comments about all Bowflex products are.
1. Over hyped.
2. Oover priced.
Cable/pulley systems using either weight stacks or weight plates are always superior, several well built brands like Powertec and BodySolid come with LIFE TIME no gribble guarantees. This speaks to the quality.
As far as the number of exercises, you got to be a rube if you think you can do 100 different exercises on a Bowflex.
is bowflex that bad for someone who just wants to get into shape, but doesn't wanna bulk up? I don't know much about home gyms, but it sounds good that it doesn't take up a lot of space.
I have an Ultimate two and it's awesome. I have always worked out on my free weights and last Oct. 2008 I got a Bo flex and started working out on it 6 days a week. It really has changed my body, much more cut. I still use my free weights 5 days per week as well.
those pictures have to be very old. he looks like he very young in those pics and now he looks much older. plus the guy is now fat so it didnt work. seems like it made him fatter......
That was a review? That sounded like an infomercial. It seems like he just wants you to visit his site, so you can click on the link to Bowflex and/or use his promo code so he can get some sort of kickback. As far as being in shape goes, he has quite the double chin going on in the video which again leads me to believe he's just trying to make a couple bucks. Not to mention that his "after" pictures look more like "before he got fat" pictures. I'm still looking for a genuine video review.. next.
@SCE1112 why? is has been scientifically proven that a safely monitored weightlifting program in kids is very beneficial to health and development. its not the 1970's anymore information and facts have changed. there is still a lot of old school trainers that were certified 20+ years ago that dont bother reading up on new safer training methods and facts so everything always gets distorted.
@0587dave I believe that body weight exercises can be very challenging and for someone that is 13- 16 years old, it seems the right thing to do. For me a reason to go to the weights is when the body weight exercises become less challenging. My comment was from a year ago and my opinion has changed since then and I actually agree that weightlifting is more then safe for kids, but I also think that body weight exercises is more then sufficient.
if you have hit puberty YES! 12 years old i weighed 97lbs. 2 years of lifting weights, push ups, pull ups, BOWFLEX. I weigh 172lbs. Trust me get a Bowflex and free weights.
He started out with a good body that probably only had around 20Lbs of extra fat.
So! He could conveniently lose that fat with diet concentrating on fruits and vegetables and a small amount of meat. Mostly fish like tuna or perhaps chicken or beef. I wouldn't say turkey unless you eat it after you've already worked out because it's got a sleep agent in it. He was already built so it wasn't a big stretch at all for him to do this in 6 weeks. It's normal all the way around.
I believe that's the one with those fixed arms that pivot on a circular axis but don't extend.
That is the major problem there. Also, it has no lat tower and I believe no 'floor' pulleys which would be quite important for a huge variety of differing exercises.
As advanced as they may be, the spriral flex Bowflex machines are quite limitting in the variations because the arms don't extend and no lat tower or floor pulleys.
This guy has biceps and pecs as big as me and im 14

Not hating on the bowflex, but the resistance is actually progressive, which means that it increases as you contract your muscles.
