Tell Ruben to tone it down and go for an evil groove....stop with the tapping nonsense and work on delivering a whole, solid note or chord on each delivery...listen to what is going on around him and to get his vibrato under control....be original.
you guys have a cool energy....form a non-penetrable brotherhood between the three of you and focus on writing cohesive pieces with groove and melody. Originality and offering something new is the key.
