Hey great review, i was just wondering though, i have a bauer tru-vision cage and i was wondering if it would fit on a 7k helmet. The reason why is because i got a concussion in my old helmet so i need a new one.
@TdotRaider91 The 8K has the Microdial in the back of the helmet to adjust the fit and a composite sub-shell to give the helmet for stiffness and protection. You may also want to consider the 11K helmet which is the evolution of the 8K.
i got it in black with yellow inserts to match my team colors and i'm going to put the ccm chrome 480 on it too i need help with my gloves tho i don't know if i should get the x60's or the bauer 4 rolls
@bananamansam9 There is only 2 real differences between the 2 helmets. The 8k uses a real carbon subshell (7k just has a carbon sticker on the subshell), and the 8k has the rear Microdial to lock in a better fit. I would say the 8k is more protective b/c of the microdial. Other than that the helmets are very similar.

hey tyson i dont think its worth buying the 11k for like 200$ so which so u recommend the new 7k or the 2 year old 8k?

@5portfreak The 8K probably offers more bang for your buck if you can find one, but the 7K is a great alternate as well.

@Mrhockeykidd1 Both are really solid. I would decide based on your head width as Reebok runs a bit wide and Bauer is a little narrower.
