OMG.......sooooooooooo deeply romantic in how Adam sings it. Especially the way he says the word "doorway." Soooooo soft and tender. Does anyone know what CD this song is on? I can't find it. Ty.
@feelingman1 This song was not on an album He was on only a couple of CD's and they both had most of the same songs. This is from an old LP adam made back in the mid sixties.
i was hoping to find the female version of this song i believe its by janice harper that was a much better version than this i hope u can find that version one day.
Deeply romantic melody and inspiring lyrics! Thank you so much for posting Mr. Markalson and more power. There is another version though aside from Ferrante and Teicher which was performed by a choral group (ala Ray Connif), but I just don't know the actual artists.I really hope somebody out there has a copy of that version and would be kind enough to post it
Back in the early sixties, it was said that Adam's problem was that he sounded to much like Johnny Mathis. This was true but I think Adam was better than Johnny but he never got the recognition he was due.
This was a great movie but I think it would have been better if this version of the song was it the movie. Adam was a great singer tobad he didn't last longer as a hitmaker.
My dad sing's part of this song ... I've seen the movie many times ...an all time favorite ... I will tell Dad I found his song !!!! Thanks for posting :-)
Your very welsome, Adam did some great material back in the early sixties then he ran into the British Invation as a lot of singers of that period did.
I was misting all the way through this one...have searched for it for years...so many beautiful memories came rushing back...it was one of the Sunday songs in our home, and one of the few my parents knew word for word. I can just imagine their rapture when I play it for them later!
