The actual concept of this film was superior to anything else at the time. Certainly far more original than Star Wars, The film suffers mostly from script and budget limitations.

Wow ... I remember this movie from 1977 (It was in the same multiplex as Star Wars, and after tickets sold out to it, I took a chance on Starship Invasions). It's cheesy, sure, but it's not all that bad, when you think of all the awful movies that came out right after Star Wars. I'm so glad you're sharing this.
