I counted at least five cars turning over. I wonder if that's a record. I really like the fire suit the driver who's limping away at 0:51 is wearing. And the driver being helped away at 0:46 looks like he's wearing the shirt of his league bowling team. Those were the days when the stock cars really looked like stock cars. And what variety. This was 1960. Some of the cars looked like brand new models when other obviously went back at least to the 40's.

Two thirds of the cars crashed. The cars that didn't stayed at full speed to the start finish line. It only took NASCAR another 30 plus years to get start using the instant caution. Have to love a sport thats always 30 years behind the times. The next new car you buy tell them you want a carburetor or a 358 engine.
