They knew BJ was going to go out for that fifth round if it was up to him and they didn't want to see him take anymore punishment. His corner was literally saving BJ from himself. He has nothing to be ashamed of and don't ever say that. GSP tapped to strikes, while BJ would have died there in the ring if it weren't for his corner looking out for him.
