Benny Hill was considered funnier than Monty Python by a UHF station (WLVI TV channel 56 in Cambridge, Ma) running both! I agree! And combine "Exodus" and "international" and ".org" and see where you get linkwise!
This is actually called "The Liberty Bell". It was once a very popular song, but in modern times it was rarely heard of. The music composer for Python was asked to pick a piece that gave no elusion, to what the show was about. So "The Liberty Bell" was chosen.
We played this in band, and I was the only one who knew what it was!
We played this for district honor band this year! I had a really high piccolo part (goes up to the high A on piano)...no wonder the person that sat next to me asked me for an earplug the next day. lol
this is actualy called the "Liberty Bell March" but Monty Python is way better than people marching :P

the real title to this piece is
"The Day The Liberty Bell Cracked"
by John Philip Sousa--an American piece.
the Brits stole it...
billymusic 4 years ago
Actually, Terry Gilliam (The American in the group) suggested it as he liked the bell noise at the beginning.
SamHouldsworth 4 years ago
I played that for my band at this festival. :P
dbzmaster555 4 years ago
just add a fart noise at the end and it would be perfect
fatmanforest 4 years ago
And then accompanying the fart at the end, a giant foot coming down and squashing him! ;-)
