  • This is actually called "The Liberty Bell". It was once a very popular song, but in modern times it was rarely heard of. The music composer for Python was asked to pick a piece that gave no elusion, to what the show was about. So "The Liberty Bell" was chosen.

We played this in band, and I was the only one who knew what it was!

  • yeahhh!!

  • I love piano and I love Monty Python!! You're Great!!

    *kiss*

  • the real title to this piece is

"The Day The Liberty Bell Cracked"

by John Philip Sousa--an American piece.

    the Brits stole it...

  • Actually, Terry Gilliam (The American in the group) suggested it as he liked the bell noise at the beginning.

  • I played that for my band at this festival. :P

  • just add a fart noise at the end and it would be perfect

  • And then accompanying the fart at the end, a giant foot coming down and squashing him! ;-)

  • We played this for district honor band this year! I had a really high piccolo part (goes up to the high A on piano)...no wonder the person that sat next to me asked me for an earplug the next day. lol

  • Can you make some videos of where you show how to play piano..? :P

  • Yeah, it's the liberty bell march by John Philipp da Sousa. Well, do you know sketches by Monty Python, some of them are really funny.

  • This is.. ohw! I love it! :D

  • MONTY PYTHON?!?! You're officially my hero Will. Just in case you couldn't tell.
