@BALENA3100 I'm the guy who played this clip, so I can say for sure that it is not Darbari, although the two ragas share their tonal material. However, in terms of how the notes are "said" or approached, they are vastly different.

Excellent ! It is sounding like 50% of surbahar and 50% of sarod. Very unique and pleasant sound of its own, and your rendition of aalap is reminding me of the era of Usd Dabir Khan beenkar.
