I can imagine that Russian alphabet is very hard for other cultures like Swedish. It has like 33 letters, compared to English is only 26, and there are so many different sounds that does not exist in other languages. Good luck with that! One needs to be patient.

Damn right! Seems to be as difficult as polish is. I´m a German working in russian Discotheques (in Germany) since about 9 years. I just know the words and I´m able to read cyrillic texts. But when it comes to grammar, I´m doomed ;-)
