They talk about the river Thames... That's the same river that appears in one of the chalk drawing Bert does in Mary Poppins. "Punting on the Thames." It's also from Jyulie's hometown, Walton-on-Thames.

I really liked the WWII sketch. Makes you wonder if the characters ever caught up with one another later.
