Hi aquariusvending, thanks for your comments. If you use frit with the same COE as the glass there is no problems with compatibility, window glass is COE 82
yes it's non tempered window glass, i use window glass all the time, very occaisionally i have a problem if I'm doing a set of coasters and one has the tin side up and comes out slightly different in colour.
This was fascinating! Are you saying you used non-tempered window glass in this project? Instructors always say you can't fuse float glass, also known as window glass in America. But this is what you are using? Thanks for a wonderful idea! Take care, Sue
great video! I have been fusing tempered glass, discarded stainglass, and frit made from gin bottles...now I am inspired to fuse/slump window glass!!

Great video Jill. Have you ever had compatibility problems when using frit between the glass pieces?
