I use MediaCoder, it's very customizable.

The x264 codec settings on this vid are pretty insane, no wonder it's slow, but the quality should be pretty good even at a low bitrate.

it may be free, but it is slow. if you have a ps3, you can use the fixstars codecsys one. i just donwloaded the free trial from their website. i here it is pretty fast.

This is VERY SLOW converter, why take 4 hours to converted using this while u can use ArcSoft media converter that converts in 4min. Guys dont get this converter it takes ages.

it takes 4eva this thing, im doing a 19mb one and its takin ages, yours was 188mb and it took 13mins and mines 19mb and its taking 4eva, is there a away of making it faster??

it took 2hours to do a 8min song at 19mb, there must be a faster way to do this, is a mov file HQ?? cos ive got something called format factory and that has all files on that that i can convert too and and its so much quicker than this

dude if u wana do that convert the file first to .wmv then choice the templates and then ur all set but i recoming using youtube.wmm itz best qiulty for youtube but these programes are only on sony vages i hope i help u

x264 is a command line h264 encoder. Either use the CLI (command line interface) by opening it from the terminal ("DOS Box") and using arguments or download a GUI, such as MeGUI. Add &fmt=6 or &fmt=18 to the YouTube URL view the h264 stream.
