  • excuse me where are the WONTONS?

  • I'm eating wonton noodle soup as I watch this :)

  • but...there's no Wonton..?

  • i think u where trying to say inexpesive in the description the ingredients dont seem pricey..idk

  • @mukisito proper wonton noodle soup in hongkong is pretty labour intensive to make... the best noodles are pretty "springy"... the better soups are clear "consomme" type typically made with a combination of pork bones, chicken bones, dried fish, leek etc... they are typically not expensive per se but rather small in portion

  • you probably wanna rinse noodles with new water after boiling it

  • @daydayhyphy no, that washes off all of the starches and makes the noodles gross

  • @TheRiseagainstfan and eating starch is not gross?

  • @daydayhyphy you obviously know nothing about cooking pasta, or cooking in general with that comment

  • @TheRiseagainstfan i think you probably misunderstood daydayhyphy... rinsing chinese egg noodles in cold water after cooking is a practice very common in chinese cooking and even japanese.... the process basically makes the noodles more elastic and springy... im not fully sure what goes in the process but i think cold temperatures stiffen the gluten and the water washes away abit of the the outer more mushy parts of the noodles

  • @daydayhyphy really, any noodles in the world are made of starch itself. Starch is more than 50% of grain.

  • I lived in China, and this is not Wonton Soup. Cantonese people should rename their dishes to something else. Traditional Wonton soup is a spicy soup with dumplings inside. Cantonese don't like spicy food so they end up changing all the dishes and calling it their own.

  • @luisrd it still looks awesome! Isn't wanton stuffed in a pork with this coating?

  • SWAG

  • HOP UP OUT MY CAR... THEN I DROP MY ROOF... SMELL LIKE WONTON SOUP... THATS JUST HOW I DO!!!

  • can it be any noodles

  • is it ok if i don't put sesame oil?

  • is it ok if i don't put sesame oil?

  • this is a nonsence soup!! this gay use a pack of chicken powder instead of selfmake tasty soup.not a wonton noodle/wonton/noodle soup atall!! please,do not try this anywhere.

  • @mikopoon is that really a reeason to be calling him gay? = =

  • stupid background music

  • pretty simple this

  • Mmm yum! Your recipies look amazing! 5 stars and my sub :D

  • hat is to cool love the vid

  • 馄饨汤非常良好

    我也很喜欢的阴茎。

  • Half of you failed when you asked where the wontons were. The reason is because if you look at the title, its says wonton NOODLE soup. So guess wut? He's not using the traditional wontons that everyone is familiar with, he using WONTON NOODLES! NOODLES!! And to prove even more that half of you failed, look at 0:24 - 0:30 ! Do you notice wut it says on the package? Other than that, excellent dish chef! Im definitely going to make this during the winter. :D

  • @SuPaFlY171989 Bollocks; that isnt wonton noodle soup. Wonton noodle soup is wontons, in soup (fish/chicken stock) with noodles. If its only wontons in the soup its wonton soup. This guy cheated; he didnt make stock, he used wonton soup powder from a packet. Thats bullshit; hes not a chef, he got a packet from a store added water, boiled it up, added a few condiments... voila! Super Noodles! Wanker!

  • @piccanninni are you seriously THAT RETARDED!? I just explained almost 5 times that he is using NOODLES!! The traditional wonton is ground prok wrapped in WONTON SKINS! And who gives a flying fuck about how you make stock!? You're just jealous because he came up with a dish that you didn't think of first so you continue to bitch and moan. People like you don't even deserve to leave any comments based on the shear fact that you make yourself look like an ass in front of millions of people!

  • Wheres the wontons?

  • LOL

The noodles are called wonton noodle.

  • @SecretLovee yah they shoulda clearafied that i make my soups from regular broth dont like that proccesed stuff

  • Interesting way of making soup. I bet back in China, they can learn a lot from this master chef. Especially the chicken stock powder would be a great alternative for the traditional way of making stock. Bravo, good thinking.

  • nice vid this soup looks good and I like how you cooked the noodles and shrimp.

  • it is a wonton noodle soup you dumb white fucks, he just didnt put in the egg dumplings.

  • i luv wonton soup its tha best

  • where are the wontons?

  • Kai I wish I knew the name of your music in the background, it really just makes me feel comfortable when I watch your videos. The music you pick for the background always matches what you're cooking. (except in your really old videos, not to be mean but the music in your old cooking videos sounded really sad) But theyre great now! :D

  • 0:09 the pic looks bad

  • what kind of noodles are wonton noodles?

  • those are just eggs noodle

  • Yeahhh thats a good point 0204674.Itkman just edit the name to say "shrimp noodle soup".I made this soup but added the wontons and it was delicious.

  • Mum makes this at Breaky :D

  • I have viewed two of your videos and I do not think you know even the basics of Chinese cooking, so I suggest you do not mislead people. The first I viewed was the chicken soup and the time given to cook the chicken is definitely not correct . the second is the wontan noodlesoup, and where is the wanton?

  • i wud pay 100dallors for dis

  • You all suck :D I just made it and it is legend.

  • my mouth is watering... or something...

  • Your Chinese soup vids are the best. No nonsense... no wasted words... you get right to it. (So many other people ramble on and on needlessly.) Excellent! Please do more! :-) Thank you.

  • wicked camera work! wonton noodle soup is soooo yummy!

  • This is a great recipe for me to try. This is the first time I have seen wanton soup made this way. I am so used to eating wanton soup with the meat inside little dumplings, but the wanton noodles with shrimp looks great just the same. Thanks for the video. Oh! I really liked the music in the background too! It sounds like Neil Schonn, the guitarist for Journey.

  • Its Won ton "NOODLE" soup

  • where is the wonton??

  • new leaf market carries chicken stock powder in bulk for about .89 cents a pound you can get 6 spoon fulls for 50 cents

  • wooooooow!! that looks yummy!!!! mmmmmm! i need to make that!

  • You have gotten great cooking videos!

  • Love all you cooking videos.

Your vids are great! cant wait to try them out :-D

  • that' looks sooo damn good.

  • Dude, your videos rock!! They are both easy to understand and great music in the background!

  • Not only are these videos great, but great choice of music as well! Joe Satriani is awesome and I love chinese food

  • Perfect case of: two great things that go great together.

  • ah interesting, put in the broth later instead of cooking it all in one, i like it. looks delish.

  • I like the way you cook. Thank you for sharing.

  • 5 minutes for the wonton noodles?! This whole time I've been cooking them for 30 seconds-1 minute! :o No wonder it tastes nasty! lol. You don't know how helpful your videos are for people who just started living on their own!

  • Thank you. I also was on my own when I was 17 years old.

  • @itsliz89 wow. you're right. this looks super easy after watching this! thanks!

  • @itsliz89 i blanch my noodles for about 20 seconds. comes out chewy the way it's suppose to be. awesome taste in my opinion.

  • you know your vids are so cool and plus your cooking is even better! i love what you do! id rather watch this than the food network channel on tv! keep up the good work! And do what you do best!

  • What would I have to do if I wanted to use fresh ingredients to make my stock instead of powder?

  • You can use half of chicken or 1 can 16 oz of chicken stock. and also add 2 stalk of celery. If you don't have wonton powder.

  • @kid2dragon type into youtube how to make fresh chicken stalk

  • Basically the part where he cooks the Shrimp you can substitue in the Wonton's, or add other stuff.

  • Thank you!! I'm getting hungry. LOL. I will learn to cook this soup.
