the first exp track looks like it has no 3rd rail

why is it going so slow?
Maserati7200 3 years ago
Actually, that is the right track for the Sea Beach Line. Only one exp track is used for put-ins, expresses and whatnot.

Why was the Coney Island bound (Out of service) R train using the Mahattan bound express tracks?
skipstops 3 years ago
This train was headed towards the yard, also to clear the way for N trains
look how low that clearance is

they should paint it back it's not like trains get bombed anymore...hint hint lol

uh cbrown i think the r-44s had the blue stripe not the r-46
They both had the blue stripe.

I know that the R40M,R42,R44,and R46 had blue stripes and even other trains but that was in the only 1970's and the 1980's.
@skipstops actually the blue stripes lasted till the begininning of the 90's but then it started rusting fast so they had to remove it

at one time just about everything had the blue stripe. R-38s and R-32s had blue doors.

Some R40S, R40M, & R42 cars also had blue doors prior being overhauled. The MTA tried to keep them graffiti free.

Sounded like it had a flat spot on the wheels. Some T/O prolly dumped it or full serviced the train really fast and fucked up the wheels.

To be honest, it was 2 cars on the front half and 2 on the end half. But when it slowed down to kings highway, there was this loud CLANGING sound.
