Not the average song you learn at summer camp, but that's where I first heard this gem. In high school I was a full-blown Monty Python freak. And yes, Micheal Palin sings the lead, as he did in season 1 on BBC-TV. On a couple of versions, Eric Idle sings the lead.

This part is funny , but can feel a lot of sadness in the end when they salute George .
