  • hey mate i totally agree with you.

pele and maradona were the greatest to watch.

i played soccer all my life and still do. could've made it professional, but to make it professional it helps to have contacts or to have your uncle or father as a coach or something.

alot of players are hype these days. beckham is the leader. for example why can't these so called professional players kick with both feet with equal ability? there should be no weak foot when u get paid 100,000 pounds a week !

  • i'm curious about your opinion on messi and cristiano...

  • youre pretty much overhyping pele aswell, retarded clueless american

youre comparing peles goals at santos in brazilian league to robinhos goals playing at real madrid in la liga. retard.

  • youre pretty much overhyping pele aswell, retarded clueless american

  • dude, you don't know sht... have you actually watched a game he played? all the points you made are nonsensical. Robinho played as a winger for RM, wingers cross and not score you dumb shit. stepovers are useless? are you fking serious? have you been lived under a rock? 'little pele' was given to robinho by PELE. dude...just gtfo

  • It's not pronounced 'Pay-lay', it's 'Pe-lay'. And Robinho isn't crap. As a Man Utd supporter it pains me to say it but Robinho is absolutely brilliant, when he's on form. Against some of the bigger teams he goes missing but there's no doubting his ability. Just because he's not as good as Pelé doesn't mean he's crap. That's harsh. Also, at the beginning of the vid you say all the players in the intro are stars; as much as I like him, Quaresma has fallen from grace since he left Porto.

  • This video is crap. . First of all The reason they call robinho lil pele because he is also good and he is also from brazil just like pele. . Second of all, if you watch closely on the minute 3:11 they pull his shirt. . thats why he falls on the ground. . Third of all, its not as easy for robinho like how it was for pele back then, because pele had it more easy since many people werent good at soccer. . buh yea all you haters dat hate on robinho. . jus hate somewere else!!

  • robinho is ridiculously overrated. he can't touch people like kaka, let alone pele. he has his good days, but most of the time what he does is dribble, lose the ball, take shots that don't even go near the goal, and do horrible passes that accidentally work out. he is a good dribbler, but what use is that if he loses the ball immediately after doing so? he is also a shameless diver and a okay player AT BEST

  • ROBINHO is the best!!!!

  • when you say useless stopover i think you should watch other videos where he actually gets the defender..

  • Robinho was said to be better than Ronaldinho and as soon as i saw him play i knew he sucked balls

  • Wow, I don't think I've ever agreed so much with a youtube vid than this one. all it takes is a defenders who's slightly bigger than him (and lets face it, there's plenty of 'em) and he he's marked right out of the game

  • shit video.

    1 star

  • i dont like robinho either because he always whines to to ref for nothing all he does is dive. although i do think little pele is a little unfair of a name, its not like he started calling himself that ya know?

either way robinho is probably the most overated player in the world but he still has his moments were he gets the job done although i believe he hurts a team more than he helps because he's a sellfish player.

  • lol I love how everyone is getting"Butthurt" about this. I somewhat agree but I dont love your criticisms.

  • Maybe I'm misinformed, but doesn't Robinho play agianst tougher competition than Pele did? That might explain the lower scoring numbers...

  • niceeeee

  • ur a fucking faggot white guy that clearly doesn't know ANYTHING about football.

Of course nobody is as good as pele, and robinho is over rated, but the only reason he falls is bcause he's a skinny bitch. and step overs DO work, The opponent is not suppost to be foolled and run the directione the leg is moving! it's supposed to give momentum and a little more unpredictability!

plus, u only showed robinho's bad moments, because he actually scores goals! WHITE BITCH!!!

  • dam ur ignorant as hell...everybody has their own style of play robinho likes doin crossovers n hes good at them...every crossover he does he beats his defender n they push him..idk y u keep sayin nobody touches him...ur an idiot...shitty ass video

  • dude ur a fucking idiot..robinho is not overrated at all..if u knew anythin bout brazilian soccer those stepovers are done to get momentum, throw the defender off a little and beat him...doesnt mean u gotta fool him, u just gotta get past him..and wenever he falls itz cuz someone pushd him u faggot. the same with c ronaldo in ur intoduction of the "good" players..hes not overatted dude its called "ginga" u ass

  • hes not over rated

he barely played for real madrid n thts why he was sold.

jus go back to wankin to david beckham ya ignorant american

  • Fuck Robinho, he fucking sucks. Quaresma, Simao, Messi, Hleb, Ribery, Walcott, Bojan, Robben, Nani, C.Ronaldo, Schweinsteiger, Giggs all better than this loser.

  • Why are you criticizing him so much? It is clear that Robinho is not a big player. As a matter of fact, who the fuck is Robinho? Nobody. Just because he scored 6 goals against Ecuador and Chile in a Copa America, doesn't mean he's good. Even I can score against does defenses. He has never done anything useful here in Madrid. And now he wants our team to double his salary, after he has done NOTHING. After he found out we weren't going to give him more money now he says he wants to leave.

  • Pele's successor has been and gone:

    Luis Ronaldo.

He was the best finisher of all time, scored goals wherever he went, is the highest scoring World Cup player ever and even took Pele's #1 spot after the world cup much to Pele's disliking.

In his prime he was better than all of the old greats.

P.S. Please dont make anymore vids on football/soccer, as you clearly know nothing about the sport.

  • At least Robinho played in a tough league cant say that about Pele. Another thing Pele was Fifa's love child not the publics player as that accolade went to Maradona. So really Pele is just as over-rated or more.

  • HAHAHAHA you are actually the sickest person i have met. ROBINHO? are you kidding me? go play in traffic please and do us all good and stop making these shitty videos.

  • wat do u mean that robinho sucks?

he was the top scorer in the Copa América 2007with six goals! tevez scored only once, and messi only twice

  • I dont know Kaka had a very bad year this year and MIlan didint make champion league, he missed more penalties then he had goals. The closest player to Pele was Maradona and closest active player to Pele is probably is Messi but Ronaldo has been tearing shit up

  • i think ronaldo the brazilian 1 wat the closest 2 him

  • patricknsports you are realy NOOB !!!Robinho is a good playaer, young with amazing tehnic and watc mozre videos about Robinho and you see ,that shes stepovers is good !!!

  • it's because robinho can't do freestyle, all he can do is useless stepover and rainbow .

  • wow ur an idiot if u say robinho cant do no freestyle..watch some joga bonito videos u noob

  • football's not about joga bonito, that's just media coverage to help Nike sell stuff

  • It´s not that he sucks (of course compared to Pelé he´s a useless piece of shit), it´s that against good defenses he´s nobody. Put a decent defender against him and he does nothing. It doesn´t matter how many goals he scores against the little teams at the end of the league table, he will never be up to standars of a world class team like Real Madrid.

Seriously, watch closely. Against a decent defense what has he ever done? Yet alone an important match like Semifinals or a Final.

  • dude the first clip is to get a penalty, but the rest yea robinho is hopeless i think so too and Ka Ka is brill!!!

  • The reason he fell is because they was pulling his shirt

  • The reason he fell is because they was pulling his shirt

  • I FINALLY AGREE !100000% robinho overated KAKA is underated and should be in madrird or barca or man u but theres one more person who uses useless step overs his name is c.ronaldo!!!!!!

  • who the fuck is this guy called Patrick N anyways? He is soooooo not it.

  • You are ignorant! He does not play up front he is a winger..And you are not a true real madrid fan because he has done so much this year! So go make some stupid video about someone else!

  • yeah so much, that´s why madrid is playing quarter finals of the Champions League. The day before the game he said he liked the responsability of leading madrid due to all the injuries. AND WHAT THE FUCK DID HE DO!? NOTHING. Such a mediocre player cannot be taken seriously as the leader of such big team. Take Messi for example, Oleguer gets a red card in the first half, WHO LEADS BARÇA TO SAVE THE GAME AGAINST REAL MADRID? LIONEL MESSI 3 GOALS. What did Robinho do that day? shit.

  • Well looks likes you guys really beed Messi to win games since you all will not win La Liga!

  • Maybe, but at least we are at Quarter Finals of the Champions League.

  • robinho is very creative player. give him a couple more years n he'll become a world class footballer.

  • Dude u really dont know what your talkin about. Besides a bunch of other mistakes, robinho's goal per game ratio is GOOD for someone who plays as a winger. He is not a striker and is one of madrids most creative players. Do you even watch "soccer"?

  • TRUEEEEE

    KAKA IS BETTER

  • Stepovers can outright fool a defender but only in some situations. That is why he does many continuous stepovers in order to force the defender to commit so that he can move around them. Also, if the defender does not make a move, then they will only be reactionary when Robinho stops doing stepovers and actually runs a certain direction, which in most cases, is too late for the defender and he is already beaten.

  • You state on many occasions that his stepovers do not fool the defender, and this is true to an extent, but your outright certainty does show an amount of ignorance to the actual playing of the game.

  • Robinho has stated on many occasions that although he is flattered by the comparison, that he is his own player. He was also called this as he lead Santos to their first title in many years, since the playing days of Pele I believe.

  • But a true playmaker and one who plays for the joy of the game does not give in to cynics such as yourself. This is something that is ingrained in Brazilian football, I suggest you watch the documentary, "Ginga: The Soul of Brasilian Football". Also, it is not his fault that people and PELE himself for that matter, dubbed him the next Pele.

  • It takes a whole lot of guts to run at defenders and do the things he does on this level, he could take the easy way out in many plays, but chooses instead to take risks on the pitch, and risks inevitably lead to scoring chances. They also lead to ridicule, like in this case.

  • Firstly, I would like to point out that I have never bothered to comment on a video on Youtube, or any other website for that matter. I have decided to comment because this video is completely ridiculous, and unfair to a professional like Robinho who amidst the high pressures of winning in modern football, perseveres in his personal attacking philosophy.

  • I guess winning so many games at the end stretch could have been motivated and devised by anyone with the same roster.

Robinho was overhyped as the next Pele, so I was exposing that. I don't think you understand that that was my argument. Relax.

  • "I guess winning so many games at the end stretch could have been motivated and devised by anyone with the same roster."

    - Actually... Yes! We saw exactly the same the year before with Lopez Caro! The only difference was that Barcelona didn't suck as much and Real Madrid didn't start the game with a goal against!

  • Hehe! I see you are an american! You really don't understand football or soccer as you call it. A football player isn't rated just by the goals he scores, but also from the performance. Robinho was one of the main factors so that the gold came to Madrid last year!

  • As a sub, yeah. If you notice, Robinho has stopped his useless stepovers lately and is playing one-touch and now he's doing much better. Robinho was overrated and overhyped. If you've rated him high in the past, than fine, but Capello seemed to agree with me last year.

It's ad hominem to say that because I'm an American, I don't know soccer. The argument was that he was hyped as the next Pele, which was erroneous. They don't really play the same style; they don't use the same skill sets.

  • Capello sucked! He also chose Salgado over Cicinho, Emerson over any attacking mid, Beckham over anyone else who could play football! The league win was thanks to team-effort, not Capello!

And to say Robinho sucks, because he don't score as many goals as Pele, is like saying Casillas sucks because he doesn't dribble as much as the rest of the team. Robinho and Pele plays in different places on the field, and shouldn't be compared in that matter! Get over it!

  • wow what an idiot. i love how you show clips of robinho turning defenders inside out and say his stepovers are wasted. not every stepover you make isnt going to fool defenders anyway..theyre professionals. hes compared to pele bc PELE HIMSELF said robinho reminded of him when he was younger. it has nothing to do with goal scoring and "flopping". and dangerous isnt always equated to goal scoring. ask any defender if they dont piss their pants when hes running at them. he makes things happen

  • "During today's meeting in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the Board of Directors of Real Madrid decided to open an investigation prior to fining the club players who, after playing in internationals with their respective national teams, decided to delay their reincorporation into the First Team. The Board has every intention of expediting the process and will determine the outcome shortly."

Robinho partying instead of looking out for the club that pays him. He flopped on his team :(

  • wowoowowow. that has nothing to do with your point of the pele comparison. organize your argument then maybe youll look like you know anything about football.

  • wowowoow thank you for accepting defeat. robinho is worthless.

  • youre hopeless, and im somewhat embarassed for arguing with you, but ill leave you with this...2 goals against Olympiakos in the champions league. go play some WOW dumbass

  • zidane is awesome; i'd agree with that. But to see such angry comments over Robinho suggests a level of being a fanboy more than demonstrating a level of football knowledge. Lighten up!

  • actually the guy was fooled on the stepovers. and yea he did make that FOUL look more than it was was, but i was still called the referee was right there. and i like u show clips of robinho where he does fool the defender enough to get by them, and then talk about they arent gettin fooled. either u know have know football knowledge, or u need to yank that stick out of ur butt.

  • im sure u know nothing about football!u are compare pele in 1960s to robinho in 2007!!!!!!thats fuuny!robinho is not a first striker and he is 2nd striker or winger .peole belive pele is the best just to respect him.zidane is the ebst ever.
