Never mind the fact that when 'folk', which you seem to be the guru of, was at its prime everyone borrowed melodies and progressions from each other, what made it unique was the words. Dylan stole many melodies over his career (my example because you were quick to throw out his name).

And you can't just read the lyrics and tell me they dont have more meaning than the shit being played on the radio. These are good lyrics man. Get your head out of your ass
