@SpecializedChild462 I have an incompetent cervix. My cervix dilates without contractions because of weakness caused by past procedures. I have since had another baby and during that pregnancy, I had a cervical cerclage, or stitch, placed to support the weight of the baby throughout my pregnancy.

I am so sorry.I lost my son at 16wks gestation and daughter at 10wks.I wish I had made a tribute to him like you did for your daughter.The video is so touching.If anyone is having trouble dealing with their grief,I highly recommend finding a local Grief Share group to join. I've been through the program and it has really helped me to deal with the loss of my children.I pray for all of you who have experienced this pain.Just know that they are in Heaven with our Lord Jesus.

I too lost my baby Michael @ 25 weeks. He was born sleeping due to a prolapsed cord on Sept 2, 1988. I stumbled across this tribute love the song never heard it before. It's funny that even 23 years later the pain of that day can still be as new now as it way then. I find peace and comfort in know where my son is and in know that he never had to know the pain and hate this world holds. He left the safety and warmth of my womb and went straight to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father!

What a beautiful song! i couldn't stop crying.  I too know what it's like to lose a child. My daughter was born at 37 weeks & passed away four days after she was born due to lack of oxygen. I'm still learning to deal with this & I just pray for peace not only for myself & my family but for the many families to go through this yearly. I'll pray for u, please pray for me <3

This happened to my mother back in 1947. She described my older brother, David Ronald Anthony as the size of a pound of butter. He was buried in a grave in Vancouver, BC Canada. Some day I am going to search for his grave.

My heart goes out to all the families especially the mothers of babies who passed due to prematurity. I don't know how you feel since I haven't experienced that, but I have lost a niece at 3 wks of age. God gives us challenges to make us stronger even tho it may hurt. I share your pain. My baby died last month on 08/15 due to premature labor. She was born alive, but died 3 hours later. I don't know what it is like to loose a baby because I am only 15, but I was born at 25 weeks in gestation. I was born with BPD (Bronco Pulminary Displacia), A rare lung disease. My lungs are filled with scar tissue from the venalator I was on. I had a feeding tube when I was 7 and got it taken out when I was 13. I almost died countless times when was in the NICU. I don't know if my story helps, but I hope it does. good bye! <3

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can see the sadness you and your husband feel and how much love you had for your baby. My grandson was stillborn last month because my daughter went into ketoacidosis from diabetes during labor at 35 wks gestation. As painful as it is to me, my daughter's pain is unbearable. In my church, we're taught that families are forever, and if someone loses a baby, they'll be able to raise him in the next life. I pray for this for your family and she'll be in your arms again

I hurt so much for all of u who have lost your preemies. My neice in Oregon had 2 babies 2 early. Due to no insurance, they were allowed to die in her arms. 28 years ago I had a baby born at 26 weeks. No insurance, but they put the baby #1. Before I had a chance to see her, they put her through a window where she was hooked up for breathing and tube feeding. She came home after 6 weeks at 4 lbs. 6 weeks before she was supposed to be born. Please come to SLC, Utah where they put babies 1st.

I gave birth to our daughter on June 6, 2009. She was 20 weeks gestational. She lived an hour and 20 minutes and passed. We held her until she died. I had a severe case of HELLP syndrome and pre eclampsia. God bless you and your family.
