I bought into 7 or 8 silver and some gold mines. I am a novice investor with quite a bit of liquidity.

I just heard buying stock in silver mines is not for the novice such as I. The mines I bought into were highly recommended, but I was told I needed to follow you as you are the silver mining guru. Should I just sell out then since I know very little about it? Then what?

What about Silver which can be extracted from sea water. Is this to expensive? Or is this a possibility in the future? Silver has a great future. There was a time when Silver was more valuable than gold. And the Italian Banks exchanged Silver with the Arabs and received gold instead.

@silverguru Dave, I am a big fan of yours. If you get a chance have a look at Griffin Mining they are based in Caijing China, listed on the London and Hong Kong Stock exchanges. Currently producing 3500 ounces of silver per year but upgraded the mine recently to produce 5 times that amount. They just released drilling results yesterday on a massive amount of silver in their Caijing license area, report available on their website. SP looks very very cheap.

Most silver is mined as a byproduct of base metal mining. as costs of energy, transportation, tools, labor, etc increase marginal mines will shut down . Mines will have to go deeper and try to extract less rich ore. As the costs keep going up, supply will top out and miners will demand more $s to represent the cost of production.

If the new york casino. (CRIMEX) loses credibility as a pricing mechanism, the price will explode.

damn the morgan report if the real deal. The last couple days I've been reading more about silver not being available in ten years. There was an article in the street that said three digit silver will occur this decade. I won't sell until it hits four digits.
