@domino23456 And thats not the only place where that is a problem. Before the pyramid, the order of the elephants in the circle kept changing. Also when the pyramid is collapsing, when the matriarch says the assassin line, the color of the elephant that sat on her head changes.

@SamDavisMusic She actually gets on the ball before the third one climbs up. I believe after she asked the second about being clumsy, she set the second's rump on her head, so it wasn't over her eyes. If u notice, it did go back over her eyes, but after the third had climbed on top. Her bod and the second's bod offset each other like a seesaw, with her bod being heavy enough that she just finished climbing on the ball as the third put her front feet up on the matriarch's butt and grabed trunks.
I have a question how to u think Matriarch gets on the ball after the third one gets on? I think it would be pretty hard to get your back two legs up on the ball when u have a giant rump over your face? Thoughts?

Throughout the whole movie the 3rd one wants to look good in front of the matriarch. The 2nd in rank is 2 in the pyramid. 3 wants to outrank 2 by making her look bad and bother her. She does it by sitting too long on her head(1:14) , standing in her eye while getting up(1:25),slamming 4 into her butt(1:37) and standing in her eye again(1:50). But when she does this, she pays less attention to the other elephants. Which causes 4 to fall down on top of her because she didn’t give 4 enough support.
They weren't really surprised. The third elephant was the one who said that and she was just being herself and making fun of the ringmaster. They would have been clumsy no matter how many times they practiced cause they are fat, clumsy elephants. Actually, the ringmaster had the original idea, Timothy just gave him the idea of having Dumbo be the climax.
I don't think they rehearsed cuz they seemed a little surprised when the ringmaster was talking and the one elephant says "you hear him talk you;d think he was going to do it" I also think they wouldn't have been so clumbsy. Also didn't Timothy give the ringmaster the idea just the night before?
Yes it is. That's why I'm sure they rehearsed/practiced before this cause they wouldn't know that she had to sit back in order to help the third climb up if they hadn't practiced.
The orange elephant's rump doesn't completely smother the matriarch's face. It just covers her eyes and stops on her trunk. Another thing, with the rumps in eyes, it's really fat and baggy skin. Their actual rumps are on their partners heads.

@MrJuno12341 it was deliberate, she was just a bit clumsy in doing it. She meant to sit on the matriarch, she just lost her footing halfway down. This makes me think that they practiced or rehearsed before, cause they wouldn't know some of this stuff if they hadn't.
@golfmachine03 makes sense. the matriarch just seems to take it as the orange elephant completely smothers her face but gets mad when the orane elephants foot goes in her eye. so it must have been part of the act.
The first time the orange elephant falls it seems she does it on accident. But the way she sits on the matriarchs head when she pulls up the third elephant makes me think it was deliberate.
