  • quite amazing rendition - where can I download/buy it?

  • Maravillosa versión. Te amo Bob!

  • Please God let them release this officially...

  • The carribean still blows......

  • So great ! Thank you for posting !

  • I'll be the portly guy with all his hair cut short next to Slim Tim (grey, thinning) and two handsome 30-pluses, Alex & Terry. Bobby will be the frail fellow on stage who has shaped all our lives...

  • Good point blingrunt59. I'm going to see him in Nottingham next week with my two sons.

  • @Pitsku See ya there blingrunt59.

  • where does this song come from .. i know slow train-saved-shot of love but cant place this one.....? great song by the way love the way he sings here ... the sound is great too

  • @TheArsong this was recorded during the Shot of Love sessions, and it's on the Biograph box set from 1985

  • @consterned aah ok .. thats a box i dont have .. many new songs on it ?? in fact i mostly dont buy boxes cause its all a bit of the same again but ok i could expect other songs from dylan

  • Like a rattle snake does! I agree Shot of Love was a beauty. Think 'Up To Me' was about the same timer, another Dylan classic that never got on an album (maybe it was B.O.T.T.). No one does Dylan classics like Dylan does - not even a rattle snake. Get ready to welcome him, Dear God. xx

  • @Pitsku he goin anytime soon! he has too much life to go!!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON "BOBBY"...

  • One of his best works, wish he'd complete it and put it on an album though!

  • One of his top 3 songs of all time. This version doesnt match the live version from Nov 1980 though ...

  • Those 3 albums- Saved, Shot of Love, Slow Train Coming...are fu*king fantastic. It may have been a confusing time for fans and critics, but it was one of Dylan's most creative periods. The music is spot on and the lyrics came straight from the gut. I was 8 years old when Slow Train came out and I first saw him in concert. As a life long Dylan fan, I find this period in his career fascinating. Thank you for posting!

  • Shot of Love is one of his finest albums... Imagine if that song had made the cut!!! It would be a classic...

  • So often Dylan's outtakes are so much better that avarage song from given album. Briliant!

  • being the 69th rating it as... i absolutely love it! makes me smile...!

  • This is just a PERFECT Dylan song! The beat, the phrases, the instruments he picked, his diction, his voice he used in this song (one of many of his voices) & superbly performed. Such a difficult song to pull off, yet Bob sings it flawlessly. Genius is the only word I can think of even though I know he doesn't like to hear that term.

  • i want a download of this so bad

  • @lazycrazy24 Atube Catcher!

  • Shot of love is a very underrated album...

  • One of my all time favourite Dylan songs & you can read my extensive article about Caribbean Wind via my Facebook profile:)!

  • Fantastic Song.Where I can get this Song?On Biograph is a different version.

  • Life....without Dylan......let's just say I may not have made it. Doesn't matter what life casts at me as long as I have the Lord & Dylan I know I can make it!

I get a lot of work done if I play this song!

  • Great Song. This version is new to me.

  • this is magic ! ' what would life be

    without ' bob ! '

  • @markparrgardiner Can't imagine life without Dylan! I know he is not God, but surely God has placed him here & his work is not done.....thank God!

  • This is easily the best version I have heard of this song which must be one of the hardest Dylan songs for anyone to sing. Thanks for uploading it.

  • @TheLeftyfrizzell - It IS Dylan....

  • @Gazza63 Yep, I realize that. The point I was trying to make was that Bob does such a great job of singing such a hard song to sing. Obviously I did a poor job! :-)

  • God Dylan!

  • wow, the sound quality on this video is amazing. Absolutely beautiful song, a tropical visions of Johanna tinged in heartfelt spirituality and genuine human nobility. But ya'll knew that already.

  • We met in secret where we drank from a spring

She said I know what you're thinkin' but there ain't a thing

We can do about it so we might as well let it be

  • I'd like to get my handson the live version I had it and lost it, possibly my favorite Dylan song.... I would like to hear something like this with music more like the biograph version... Is such a take available on any" imports"?

  • This might be my favorite version of this song

  • i love how absolutely no one has rated this video badly.

  • bob at is very best ,my favorite unreleased track of all time thanks for posting

  • Thanks for sharing this! Comparing it to the various other versions is a fascinating experience. Still not sure whether I prefer this or the biograph version.
