My mom went to school with Del in Coopersville. She bought his album 'Little Town Flirt' because she knew him............it was my first record when she gave it to me as a gift sometime after she purchased it back then. 'Jody' is one of my Del Shannon faves and I think of her when I hear the song.........sad to know she died so young........she really had Del's face.........the eyes and nose especially.........
