Mic relay was pretty tricky back in 1978/79 this was pre- We Are The World and also this was before wireless hand held mics were common in pop music :) You had the best talent together on one stage which is really cool and this was the second big event since the Concert for Bangladesh headed up by the late George Harrison and so on.
