  • @redcherie03 Bulgar wheat is quite fine. You would probably need to gring the wheat up first :-/

  • It;s pronounced KIB'BIEH. The stuffing meat tastes better if you add pomogranite molasses, trust me. You'll love it :)

  • @LittleMissAlleyCat Pomegranate molasses is not something I've ever seen in my local supermarket. And I suspect I'm not alone!

  • @TitliNihaan @LittleMissAlleyCat Pomegranate molasses is also very easy to make, and it can be kept in a jar in the fridge for months. Alton Brown's method worked well for me.

  • They look lovely, as always. I was pondering whether the process of forming the dough and stuffing might not be made a little easier with a tray with moulds - Lots of local cookshops do mini cupcake trays made of silicone that would facilitate easy removal, and look about the right size... Form the dough in the tray, pop in the filling, a little more dough on top to close the ball, and then pop it out and a bit of a gentle squeeze to ball-ify it...

    Not tried it, but it might be worth a go...

  • yummy!! you should totally do a follow up video for this dish called "kibbeh bil laban" its an absolutely delicious popular lebanese dish that combines the meaty goodness of kibbeh with an amazingly tasty butter milk (laban) sauce. my family makes it all them time (boy r they goon be excited when i tell them we don't have to buy frozen kibbehs anymore).

  • My mom makes the BEST oven kibbeh in the woooooorld! and we eat it with that white thing that is like yogurt... It's preferable if you're dieting, which I always am, saddly... because its not fried. BUT! we just got this frying thing that looks just like yours and I'm definitely going to try your recipe, it looks amaaazing and my nose even got a little sad because it couldn't smell the video...   • This looks yummy. BTW, after how many uses are you supposed to change the oil in the deep fryer? And what's a good way to dispose of it?

  • @simplylunar It all depends on what you are cooking in the oil. I change it about every 8-10 uses. I take my oil to the local facility which takes used oil. Never pour it down the drain!
