Though i was not able to look at the pictures for more than 5seconds because its moving really fast... I still appreciate the thought that you featured zaha hadid's works... see, she has been my idol ever since.. so, thank you for sharing this video... :)
i am an architect, so i liked the preview of this video. i just wondering what proggrame it is because i want to do something simmilar to this /i thought video not architecture/, if it is hard to say name of the programme never mind cheers mate
@vinbarg Is this what architecture has become? we used to talk about philosophy, phenomenology, hermeneutics, place, space and ethics. Now we ask "what fucking program did you use?!" Please tell me you are a games designer or animator. If you are involved in Architecture I think I might fucking cry in despair. God save future generations from computer generated fucking garbage.
Some of the early renderings (with the original Olympics logo pre the controversial ugly one) are beautiful. But the finished building looks nothing like it, it's actually quite ugly with two large bold on sharp angular wings that totally destroy the wave effect (which ash been watered down from most of these images in the video anyway. It's a real shame. It was supposed to cost £75 million, it ended up costing over 3 times as much.
@leenewham Those two large bold on sharp angular wings are temporarily being put in place to allow for greater spectator capacity during the games, after which will be removed to leave the more beautiful wave like structure to serve the community in olympic legacy. Britain has promised to make these games, the most green games ever, wasting nothing and making sure that there will be no 'white elephants' left after the games such as in athens after the 2004 olympics.
I'm wondering if these are really that hard to design, some of them just look like magnified computer mice. All the shapes are relatively basic organic shapes with few details. But I gotta say it looks awesome since they're just so colossal.

No, for a amazing architect as Zaha Hadid is not hard to design a building like this!

Zaha puede ser polémica pero creo que es buena dentro de su enfoque arquitectónico.
