I like the video. It's a road to answer i've been searching for. I had a terrible near-death car accident in January this year and ever since then, all my active energy and motivation to do the things i love doing seem to have dissipated despite the fact that I have wonderful people in my life to support me.
Every weekend goes by where I see nothing but blanks in my day. I don't feel myself being productive even though I want to be. Thanks to your Vid, I feel I can try once more.
@akhilwarrior Hey akhilwarrior, i'm glad you're alive and that the video has helped you. To relate, I made this after a some what traumatic event in my life (nothing close to what you went through) but the moment I accepted things and went with flow, the sooner my productivity came back and I started feeling better. Like Bruce Lee says "Become like water". Hang in there buddy, the fact that you're searching for the answer is enough to know you'll be back to being yourself again one. day.
So you mean that if you're not motivated to do homework for example you should just accept that you're not motivated and do other stuff? I'm not sure whether I get your point...
When you're in the rutt, sometimes its better to not fight it and just go with the flow. You accept that you're really not into whatever it is you're doing and do something else but eventually you'll get back with the program without beating up on yourself. It just seems to work good for me. Hope I'm clear!
Yeah I get it now. My problem is though that always when I'm not motivated and doing everything except for what I'm supposed to do I can't stop but thinking 'I should be doing this, I should be doing that right now'
I know Exactly What you mean man. I had to clean my house this weekend which sucks and I couldn't even get started until I did about an hour of meditation. After I meditate, my brain goes on cruise control and it makes what task I couldn't focus on doing a lot easier to get complete. Check out Neuro Programmer on google or some meditation vidz if you dont know how to meditate. It really works but takes time & pratice. Good luck on your homework bro!
I got the same problem KEUning. I've thought about meditating and tried it but I don't understand it well and it hasn't worked for me but I also haven't had anyone who could teach me. Maybe I need to find a class on it at some gym and give it a real chance. Maybe a class in yoga/meditation.
@JJRocco Thanks man, I appreciate that.

So it's still pretty hard...
