Rinzler jumps and does a mid-air barrel roll. He spots the disc while coming down, lands and one knee, and moves his head down slightly, so the rebound of the disc goes harmlessly over his head.

That's single move right there nominates Rinzler as the most badass character EVER.

I don't know. If that was true, then Kevin Flynn would have done it a long time ago when Clu started his coup. And also, Sam Flynn could have just let himself be killed and then gotten out and helped from the outside like he wanted to. Normally what you say is true, but it seems different in Legacy.
