it was rare this would be on tv in Ireland, i remember turning on the tv when i was about 6 years old, and the intro was just starting and i couldn't believe it, i had never heard of it before, which was strange because i'm a huge superman fan. always preferred newton's superboy, and he comes across great here, seems really funny, and he's just taking the piss out of salkind.

Watching this footage you can tell that time may have healed old wounds and frankly I would love to see Newton put the suit back on one more time as he STILL looks like he could pull it off. Stacy got hotter as she got older, and it was nice to see Ilya having a good time with them. I think he does get a bad rap from Donnor fans who think it was him and him alone that screwed up the Reeve films when in reality it was more Pierre Spengler and Alexander who jacked it up.

It's funny how back in the 90s, D.C were avoiding the silver age and Illya was embracing it with Superboy. Now D.C are embracing the silver age again, albiet by making it much darker and more graphic

Ilya knows how to take a joke, he is a very nice man. With the high amount of phony people in Hollywood, Ilya keeps it more real then most, if you can believe that. Not saying he is a saint, but not the bad guy lots of folks try to make him out to be. They say that the father and Pierre Spengler where a lot worse .

Illya was the one who gave a shit about Superman, and when Pierre and Alexander didnt want to do Superman anymore, and Supergirl flopped, they let the franchise that made them more money than they deserved go to Canon and they fucked it up. Illya kept his father in power with the Superboy franchise for a little while.

This was cool. The cast seems happy, and watching Stacey presently, she's still the peppy, giddy gal she was twenty years ago! lol. I really hope they release the other seasons with these extras.
