  • Roman catholic did not even exist at this time. The bishops were catholic but were hardly Roman.

  • @MRGV7373 But the bishops from Egypt were forced to worship the white pharoahs (as gods) who were placed in Egypt by the Romans. I think the images of Jesus and that of Soter say it all. They did incorporate Soter into the Christian myth, to ever further the confusion about the real Jesus, if he ever did exist in reality.

  • Best to read the NT and and look at the history of the Jews and Romans and find out who and what Jesus is and were he lived. Over 10,0000 documents exist that write about the times and teachings of Jesus. Come on here. Get in to the details of Jesus and find out the truth. Jesus exists.

  • what stands AD for ? please someone clarify me

  • @HoodstarMoTg007 Anno Domini - In The Year of Our Lord

  • Arius didn't say that Jesus didn't exist. He only argued that the Father was divine over the Son - that Jesus was the subordinate of the Godhead.

  • The whole reason there was a council of Nicea was because different Christian factions were in existence - they each believed in/emphasized certain parts of His life and not others. In addition, by this time many different books/epistles/etc about the life of Jesus had been penned. The Council of Nicea was created in order to establish an organized religion for the Roman state because they had an emperor who made Christianity the official one. The existence of Jesus came before the council.

  • If you're going to say there is no historical record of a man named Jesus, then by automatic extension, if there is any record of any historian mentioning Christ is illegitimate. Slippery slope there.

  • your opinion freely when asked, but you have to be very careful when you start trying to influence others of your beliefs through preaching and creating multimedia messages because if you're incorrect in any of your assertions, then you are holder of the responsibility of leading minds astray.

  • What this dude is saying about the Nicean Council is true, but he does not address the council of Laodecia which detailed the many books and texts the church at the time felt should no longer be considered canon which included texts with many quotes from Jesus. Modern Christianity and the early Christian church differ greatly. There is so much to research concerning Christianity and its origins, and other religions, and spirituality. It's fine to have an opinion and to express your

  • "nobody from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd centuries said anything about somebody called Jesus' says "Dr." Hagin....well except for Josephus and Tacitus, probably the two most prominent 1st century historians. It's very easy for some clown like Hagin to make a 2nd rate slideshow and make uneducated claims that Jesus didn't exist. Most idiots won't check him on it simply because he says "look it up and prove me wrong". He is proven wrong. He cannot prove that Jesus didn't exist.

  • What I want to know is, why has no one ever addressed the fact that there is a day missing from the story of Jesus dying and rising again. If Jesus died on friday why is it call good friday first of all? And second, if Jesus rose up from the dead three days later, wouldn't that be Monday and not sunday?

  • that trying to expose a religion for what it is not, isnt proving anything. Even if Jesus is made up, it will still never take away from the fact that he has brought so much light and positivity into the lives of billions for centuries and still is period. Although interesting in its theories, (NOT FACTS) it only comes off as entertainment rather than knowledge. But keep it up. Its always good to see this kind of stuff on youtube.

  • i believe do whatever guides your life in a positive light. Believe in what helps you become a better man or woman. Trying to expose a religion for being false or "made up" is really not the answer to free the "African" people of centuries of teachings and faith. Its called faith for a reason. Faith that there is a better place than this. Faith that there is someone you can go to for strength and guidance when nobody else is around to listen. You have to accept

  • Yep. the Nicean Creed is repeated by Catholics every Sun-day.

  • the date for Easter was chosen to be celebrated at the Nicean Council on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. the Council decided that not only the sun, but also the moon should be in an enoctial zodiac sign. Easter was a sex and fertility goddess. her sacred animal was the rabbit and eggs were given in her honor. shares the same root with "east" and "eastern." she was goddess of the dawn and of the planet Venus. the cross is a pagan symbol of solstices equinoxes

  • this stuff is true. it may sound hard to grasp or swallow the first time you hear it.. but study!!! read and research. i have come to all the same conclusions as pastor hagin. and i didnt learn from watching youtube. this man is speaking the truth. the cross is a PAGAN symbol. Easter is named after the Goddess Easter. easter bunnies and eggs are pagan. trinity is pagan. christmas is pagan. babtism is pagan. so is god-eating (communion). the christian reliigion is based in sun worship & paganism

  • "Dr." Hagin is pulling this info out of his ass. Probably the most unintelligent message I've ever seen.

  • @dnga99 Let me guess, you say that because it's against Jesus and u're a Christian, right?

  • @dnga99 im a comparative religions major and a student of religious history. this information is valid. how much have you researched? are you familiar with the writings of the church fathers? ever read Tertulians "De Prescriptionae Hereticorum?" Ever done any in depth studies into the Aryan Heresy? or the council? or have you studied the mythologies of diverse cultures in depth? do you know what the primum mobile of greek philosophy is? have you heard of the hindu concept of Trimurti? i have....

  • @dnga99 and if you are not familiar with any of this... then i would be careful assuming someone pulled something out of their ass. the truth is not always what you want it to be. and thats just life. if you would like to discuss or debate this issue more, then feel free to comment.

  • @dnga99 then prove him wrong.

  • @AlignmentPictures LOL! So this clown says there's no record of Jesus in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd centuries?? I doubt this "Dr.' Hagin can even read. So Jesus didn't exist because he wasn't on coins??? Why would he be on a freakin coin? To be honest Jesus doesn't need me or anyone else to defend him, a day will come when even the deniers will HAVE to acknowledge Him. Good luck with that guys.

  • @dnga99 prove him wrong. Take notes of what he's said, research it and then find faults in what he's saying and please no stupid insults saying that he's unintelligent and you doubt that he can read. Insults is not proving anything. Why do Christians always resort to insults and anger when they have no answer for questions presented to them?

  • @AlignmentPictures I have researched this. There is A LOT of evidence that says that Jesus did exist. There are manuscripts of Jewish writers (i.e. critics of Jesus and Christianity) who don't refute his miracles, they just claim that he got his power from Satan. Notice that they didn't refute that he did do these miracles. "Dr." Hagin's proof is him saying that Jesus didn't exist, he gives no evidence except his opinion. I insult him because he's an uninformed clown leading people astray
