For me I dont really enjoy Journey's music as much as other bands from that era. This Arnel Pineda, he's a good singer. But hes not singing his own songs. Id rather hear some of his own material. Anyone can get up and sing someone elses songs. I suppose he has a fame level equaling Manny over in PI. But that seems to be what happens most of the time when a pinoy gets recognition.

This is" his" song with Journey. It's one of the new songs from Revelation. Granted, he wasn't yet aboard Journey then so he didn't write the lyrics. But he's already confirmed two of his originals on the upcoming album.

He's been doing it for over 6 mos because it was his only source of livelihood until now. It's hard enough to get a break in the Phils whether you're an original or cover singer so he had to stick with what made money
