  • Ron Paul is my favorite Christian.

  • Apart from God, everybody does what is right or wrong in his own eyes. The adulterer is right when cheating, the thief is right when stealing, the rapist is right to rape, the robber to rob, the killer to kill. As long as one is strong enough to live out their opinion...they are right.

  • 2 Corinthians 3:17 Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is [liberty]. According to Matthew 7:16 By the fruit produced you can identify if the Spirit of the Lord dwells there which in Galatians 5:22 says it produces these fruits or "virtues" - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

  • Don't be deceived of these blind leaders trying to convince you Ron Paul isn't a genuine Christian!

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." John 15:18

"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." Matthew 5:8

"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." John 18:36

  • @N8Revolution I like your remarks.

  • @N8Revolution What does it matter. Most Christians in the Republican party are NOT genuine Christians. They are the Christian Taliban. And for another thing. Ron Paul practices Christianity in his private life. In his public life, his prime motivator is the US Constitution which put religion where it belongs, in private, not in the public square.

  • @michaeljamsmith It's not that religion should be explicitly private, but that, in order to advocate liberty and peace, people of different religions, such as Christians & Muslims, must allow each other to live without being governed with certain theocratic principles one does not wish to adhere to. All have the right to speak freely, & even advocate their faith publically, as a right given in the First Amendment, but that no one should ever take liberty from another. America is still beautiful!

  • He doesnt use Jesus to get votes, but you have to be completely blind to say that this man hasnt got Fear of God in him. May the peacemakers be blessed!

  • Peace is prosperous!!! Golly nough said!!! <3 YES

  • It breaks my heart and makes me cry when I hear Republicans in the recent debates promoting to go to War with Iran who has nothing against us.

The millions of dollars spent by racist organizations to spew the lies against Iran and Islamiphobia is immoral.

Ron Paul is the only honest Republican to realize this and has the courage to not bow down to Israel Govt's tyrannies of the Palestinians and their other ulterior motives for complete control of lands that are not their's not ours to own.

  • Compare this to that WAR mongering, nuke happy, blood thirsty SL*T Bachman. RON PAUL 2012!

  • A beautiful man with a beautiful message for the US and the World. Thanksgiving day love and most importantly Peace. Diplomacy works, it ends wars before they can start.

  • Wow powerful speech. Is there more?

  • Ive been following Ron Paul for sometime now and this religious spin over his strong values, awareness, principles and knowledge seems like a new twist and boy do i like it,i hope its this twist that takes him to the nomination and eventually make him president in 2012.Go Paul

  • The fact is...There is no gospel of Bombs and bullets. Not sine the Crusades has the arrogance of the fake church been so loud in calling for war.

  • @joelthomaspeterson I guess I should have said "by the FACT that we are human and we exist." At this point you trying to grasp at reasons why I am wrong by having a semantic argument and trying to misconstrue the meaning behind my words. I will no longer feed you, troll. Have a good day.

  • @valaraj

I'm not misconstruing your words at all. What I'm doing is exposing YOUR word games for what they are. You're trying to escape the moral connections to your idea of "rights," but you're unable to do it. It's simple: You think rights are GOOD because they protect the VIRTUE of humanity; therefore, the government ought to protect these rights. Hidden under your nonsense is the moral foundation you don't want to acknowledge, hypocrite.

  • @valaraj

Since you appear to be a Ron Paul fan, how do you feel about so-called "Civil Rights," particularly Title II? If you are opposed to it, I wonder on what grounds? If not, are there "rights" you don't respect, and, again, on what grounds do you oppose them?

  • @joelthomaspeterson

PS. I only see the first message you send. All later messages go unnoticed. If you didn't know this, that's what makes having a conversation here useless. This is why I'm not highly involved. I just can't be bothered enough to search for things you say. This entire conversation is useless and you're wasting your energy. Your hostility also forces me to take my interests elsewhere.

Your assertion on the existence DOES NOT substantiate ANY of your original claims. :D

  • @joelthomaspeterson For an explanation of rights I'll just direct you here: en. wikipedia. org /wiki /Rights . Human existence has spent it's entirety establishing rights and now I think it is sufficient to say we all have them based on the virtue that we are human and we exist. You can say "endowed by a creator" if you like, but I find that to be an extraneous supposition that begs the question. If we infringe upon human rights we negate the progress of humankind. Thank you enlightenment! :)

  • @valaraj

Now, you say that infringing upon human rights would negate human progress. OK. But so what? Would this be a bad thing? Why should the government legislate it? What if I and a bunch of other people don't like where "human progress" is leading us? Where is "human progress" leading us anyway, and how do you know that it's toward something worth heading? Faith?

  • @valaraj: "Human existence has spent it's entirety establishing rights and now I think it is sufficient to say we all have them based on the virtue that we are human and we exist."

The word "virtue" is defined as "moral excellence; goodness; righteousness." So what you're saying here is that we have "rights" that must be protected because humans are good. In other words, to infringe upon one's "rights" is to infringe upon his virtue, his goodness, which would be wrong. (cont.)

  • @valaraj

In other words, just as I said, you are a hypocrite. You want the government to legislate morality, which you call "rights." You cannot have "rights" without an underlying moral system. Even despite your careful avoidance of certain morality-specific terms, you can't help but betray this fact. So the government is in the business of legislating morality. You have your system of morality that informs your politics (in the name of "human progress") and Christians have theirs.

  • @valaraj

So, again, given that we both want our own versions of morality legislated, why do you have the right to this privilege while denying it to Christians? Are you a bigot? Are you too stupid to see what you're doing? Because it is a double standard, whether you want to recognize it or not.

  • @southernavenger Great clip, this philosophy has been something I have been pushing a very long time myself...Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • Scott, did you watch?

  • @joelthomaspeterson the opportunity to flourish. I don't want to legislate morality, I want legislation that acts to protect individual rights.

  • @valaraj: "I want legislation that acts to protect individual rights."

Why? What are "rights"? Define them. Tell me why they shouldn't be infringed upon.

  • @joelthomaspeterson This is the point of the constitution, to allow people with different ideas on how to live, even people with different MORAL ideas on how to live, to be able to function together in a society based on RIGHTS, not on morality. The moral zeitgeist of societies will change and the founding fathers made the constitution an amendable document for this reason. They created a method by which to govern ourselves that would keep power decentralized so as to allow minority opinions

  • @joelthomaspeterson Everybody doesn't legislate from a religious-driven morality. We have laws against rape because it violates someone's individual rights. There are plenty of instances of condoned rape in the bible. I don't think you can actually legislate morality -- you're supposed to have freedom of choice to do whatever you want *up to violating someone else's rights*. When Christians try to use religion to legislate THEIR morality -- they are wrong.

  • @jimmyjoe1975 You make an excellent point. Dr. Paul is playing to his crowd. I guess I hope for a society that doesn't allow religious justification for political action.

  • @isaias1776 I do not begrudge Dr. Paul his freedom to believe what he wants about the after life or the supernatural. I only ask that his legislative actions come from the constitution and not the bible or any other religious text.

  • Ron Paul gives me real hope.

  • A 10-year boy watching his soldier father leave him to return to the war cries out, "I hate you, Daddy! I hate you, Daddy!"

As a mother of three children, that brought me to tears. War tears families apart.

What a wise, intelligent, and caring man Ron Paul is. America, are you wise enough and good enough to elect him? He would be our greatest President.

  • I do not believe that Obama is a Christian, so this is not an issue with him. Bush called himself a Christian as did Clinton. Dr. Paul makes some interesting and solid points.

  • The USA Army goes around the world killing hurting and plundering the people when they fight back we call them terrorist. The USA law enforcement they go around America hurting killing and plundering the people ,When the people fights back we call them homegrown terrorist that the game the elite plays that everyone is a terrorist except the rich people & political class they trained the people to think that everyone is evil but the rich & political class. It takes police to have police a state

  • Is this why Savage doesn't have you on anymore?

  • What the hell is Ron Paul doing in the Republican party? It's like he's playing golf with Hitler.

  • @337noname

And Jesus Christ spent time with lepers, prostitutes, and tax collectors.

  • @AnnInFL Lepers eh? I see you think less of the Republican party than I do.

  • @337noname

Bad analogy. Remember, Germany's leader was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, not once but twice(!), in 1938/39.

It was the warmongers of the British [banking] Empire who started WW2 by initiating war upon Germany.

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles It wasn't an analogy, it was a joke and a question. BTW - Hitler use lies, fear, and nationalism to start WWII much like GW Bush use them to start the Iraq war. GW Bush was no Hitler, but he is a Republican. So what the hell IS Ron Paul doing in the Republican party?

  • @337noname

I don't think so. The timeline and all of his writings and speeches indicate otherwise. No lies whatsoever. A good source of info found on YouTube is: Hitler's Danzig Speech 19 Sep 39

There's some gratuitous bravado in the beginning, but afterward he details the situation. For example, he talks about the atrocities against Germans living under Polish rule since the Versailles Treaty, and how they escalated when Britain enticed Poland into the anti-Germany pact. Interesting stuff.

  • Comment removed

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles The neocons continue to refer to Nazi Germany. The fact is, had America stayed out of WW1, there would have been no Nazi Germany. Germany was no threat to the USA. So Nazi Germany is not a good example. If anything, it is a lesson of the consequences of interventionalism.

  • @BernieEOD You're pretty wrong on that...the unfair reparations forced upon Germany after the war enable Hitler to come to power. The U.S. had nothing to do with those.

  • @PsychoSpartan7 Wrong again. The American entry into WW1 brought about the strong position which enabled Europe to make those demands. Had America stayed out of the war, those Europeans would have eventually gotten tired of killing each other and formed a more equitable peace. No American entry into the war, not Versalles. No Versalles, no Nazis.

  • @BernieEOD True the U.S. would have been better off not getting into the war, but it was still the Europeans who directly set up the treaty. But however you cut it, the moral responsibility in large lies with Hitler and the Nazis for Nazism.

  • @PsychoSpartan7 Not true. Versalles turned all of Germany into a death camp on par with anything The Nazis ended up doing. The German people had two choices, continue starving to elect the Nazis. Europe created Hitler, Europe deserved Hitler.

  • @BernieEOD

On the other hand, do you think we would have won the war if the americans did not intervine?

  • @xaxie1 Had America stayed out of WW1, There would have been no "We" It would have been "Them" And if those foolish Europeans insisted on killing each other...So what? Actually, the war would have ended sooner if for no other reason than Europe was running out of manpower, money, and resources. They would have had to make an equitable peace which would have averted Versalles, No Versalles, no Nazis.

  • @BernieEOD

Ummm, Im british so in some way I find that kinda offensive :P

  • @xaxie1 Good! We fired you back in 1`776. You stupid Europeans created Hitler, You stupid Europeans deserved Hitler. The isolationists were right. America should have stayed out of Both wars.

  • @BernieEOD I'm sorry, but "YOU Europeans"? Unless you're black, your forefathers were also Europeans who fled Europe because they wanted to own slaves. Lol, it's ironic how you say "Europeans deserved Hitler" and yet today, USA is the most imperialistic on planet earth. Fucking yanks think they own this world....

  • @heavymetaldeath4life Europeans came to America to escape Europe. We fought a bloody war to end slavery. As far as current American policy, That is why I am for Ron Paul. Abandon the world Empire and let the word rot.

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles Arafat,Obama and others have also received the Nobel Prize. As for World War II,I am not aware that Poland,Austria, Czechoslovakia,Denmark,to name a few countries were the predators in that war. The war--which the nazis started probably could have been avoided had the victors of WWI not forced an unfair peace on Germany & had the Kaisar not been forced to abdicate because these put the nazis in power. But,Adolf was not an innocent babe.

  • @sleedolfine15

Not surprising. Thanks to obfuscation by communists, most haven't been told of Poland's and Czech's hostilities against German minorities. They also don't realize that patriots from nearly every country (incl. Austria and Denmark) sided w/ Germany against communism and oligarchy. For a nice article, google: "European Volunteer Movement"

BTW, Adolf didn't get the Prize but was nominated twice; once by Gertrude Stein. To read her words, google: "Gertrude Stein's Complex Worldview"

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles

The British couldn't wait and allow for the Germans to take over the Soviet Union, which was the direction they were going. I am no fan of either empire (USSR or Nazi Germany) but allowing either to conquer one another would've been foolish. If the Allies (blessed by God mind you) had made the wrong decision, then why have we managed to overcome both evil kingdoms (USSR/Germany)? It seems like we won and did everything perfectly.

  • @FlashVirus

"Blessed by God"?? Roosevelt, the traitorous communist, "blessed"?? Or Churchill, the drunken "Redshield" lackey?? I'd say, if phased in religious terms, the Allies were "blessed" by the Synagogue of Satan. Regrettably.

A victorious Germany, defender of Christian Europe against communism and banksterism, would've inspired reforms in both England & America. That's why true patriots such as Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh, Joe Kennedy & Oswald Mosley sided with Germany.

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles So what? Sometimes the Nobel Prize committee gets it right and sometimes they don't. Remember both Arafat and Obama also got the prize. As for your revisionist history of World War 2..well you are wrong. The war started when Germany faked a polish attack on a small german radio station. Hitler then used this fraud to justify a declaration of war against Poland and since England and France had a defense pack with Poland they declared war on Germany.

  • @bull864 It matters because we are supposed to have separation of church and state. Just because the cherry-picking he does from the bible in this instance happens to be sound does not make it right. I don't care what religion he is, or is not, but I do care if he uses his religion to justify the way he legislates and leads. He could arrive at all of his conclusions from his interpretation of the constitution (which I know he does, this is what keeps him good) and never reference the bible.

  • @valaraj This is one thing that bothers me. That today politicians aren't allowed to freely express themselves in the political arena based on their beliefs and perspectives, especially when it comes to religion or faith. I understand why the atheist may be irritated, but I lack the understanding of why he would not be tolerant and respectful of another's right to free speech and religion. We do not deny and put aside our most cherished and personal beliefs when we take our political oath.

  • @valaraj I would have a problem if he was addressing a forum of atheists and pretended not to believe. Or digressed from his faith. An atheist should too. He is addressing a group of Christians and attempting to have them look at their own book, of which he believes in and knows very well. If he was addressing an Islamic forum, he would admit his own faith but probably pull from the Koran that which supports peace. To an atheist he would discuss humanism.

  • @valaraj

EVERYBODY legislates or politics from religious-driven morality. EVERYBODY has a religion, a worldview, from which they derive their moral information. Why do leftists believe so much in socialism? Because they believe it is RIGHT (moral) for the state to provide for the "poor." Why do we have laws against rape? Because we as a society believe rape is wrong (immoral).

  • @valaraj

So whether you're smart enough to see it or not, when you tell Christians that they have to leave their Christian morality at the door of politics, what you're really saying is that you (and people that believe like you) are allowed to legislate based upon your own sense of morality, but Christians can't do the same. Essentially, you're a hypocrite and bigot. One rule for secularists and another rule for Christians. You don't want fairness, you want a monopoly.

  • @TheTrollTime I don't care if you condone what Stalin did, you were wrong and I pointed that out. And FYI, Stalin didn't just kill Christians, he killed people of all walks of life. Sad that your blinded hate of Christianity has poisoned your mind and hardened your heart. I support everyone's right to think for themselves, even if we disagree on religion or politics. You should do the same.

  • @TheTrollTime That is a myth, and incorrect as well. Our foreign policy is a Zionist foreign policy combined with corporatism. In other words, it's protect Israel and make as much money for us and our shareholders as possible. I really don't understand how someone could say religion is responsible for all the mass murders in history when people like Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, and Pol Pot (all atheists) murdered over a hundred million people. You might ought to study history a little more.

  • @bull864

Actually, German's leader was a Christian who was seen as defender of Christian Europe against atheistic, genocidal communism. See YouTube: Cheka and NKVD

But he can be replaced by banksters' puppet Churchill (a drunk) and commie Roosevelt (an atheist) on that list. Those were truly among the biggest mass murderers. Remember, the oligarchs who funded FDR were the same ones who funded genocidal Bolshevism in the SU.

    Today's Republican Party defends FDR's pro-communist legacy.

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles I agree with everything you said, except the part about Hitler. In his personal writings, he talks about how much he hated religion. He used Christianity to gain support from the German people. But other than that, I agree with the rest of your post.

  • @bull864

Thanks, but I beg to differ. He precisely criticized such pandering:

"...there have always been unscrupulous rogues who ... degrade religion to the base uses of politics.[...] it would be wrong to hold religion itself ... responsible for a number of rascals who exploit the Church..."

"...his mentality is as foreign to the true spirit of Christianity as his character was foreign to the great Founder of this new creed two thousand years ago."

He perfectly described the NeoCons, no? lol

  • CelticAlphabet: "my right"

Rights... "Rights" imply morality. But you say you don't believe in morality. I take it back, you're still not consistent, even within your own world of craziness.

So much for a women's "right" to choose. Or do you expect the grownups who actually DO believe in morality to do all the work for you and protect the "rights" you care about, even though you do not believe in the basis for them?

  • Wise words that only can come from divine inspiration. This Man speaks the truth, he is not afraid and wants to help the american people, he has a plan and we should be thankful that next year we will have an actual change to make a positive change by voting in 2012. Military people supports him, veterans, young people, everyone who wants to open his eyes and see and hear that there is the chance of a great future for our country.

  • So Iran should nuke Israel....Get your head out of the sand, Mr. Paul

  • @shotsky94 I'm sure Israel is highly capable of either a pre-emptive first-strike or taking out the missile or aircraft while in flight. They have one of the best armed forces on Earth, and have proven it three times against overwhelming odds. I'm not saying abandon Israel, but we're not in the Middle East for Israel, we're there for oil.

  • @combatjm89 Israel's army is very small. Ahmoudenijad is a nuthead. That man should absolutely not get anywhere near a nuclear weapon. Absolutely Not!!!!!

  • @shotsky94

Israel has over 300 nuclear warheads.

  • @shotsky94

You do you want to start WWIII in order to stop Iran from getting a single nuclear weapon?

  • @AnnInFL No. I want to prevent WW3 by stopping a fanatical Ahdmoudinejad from getting nukes

  • I am an atheist and I would love to see more of this from Ron Paul. He is the best of conservative Christian values. Unfortunately every 4 years the big money approves certain candidates. The crony capitalist, big bank, welfare state money decides which candidates are 'viable" and "electable"- which are those candidates who will protect the monied interests. It always works. The mob (whether left or right) line up behind one of the "approved" candidates every time.

  • We're spending billions of dollars on dictatorial regimes because our bureaucrats have the sold-out need to put the interests of foreign governments ahead of our own peoples' and that's disgusting. Politicians need to put their boots on, grab their helmets and go fight and die in their own stink-stupid war games and show the rest of us how bloody important they are by their own example.

  • This should be the evangelicals candidate!

  • If Ron Paul were elected he would be the most honest President we've had since before FDR. If we do not elect him, it will be because we are not yet done deceiving ourselves.

  • I love you, Ron.

  • I am anti-religion

I would still vote Ron Paul if I were american

  • peace is far superior to war. Ron Paul

  • Now we will find out who the real Christians are.

  • @ryanshaunkelly

number one in the Values Voters Straw Poll by far

  • If you respect all human life and hate war then give Ron Paul a try. He is the only anti-war president we have to choose from.

  • This is Ron speaking to a Christian based organization and he usually doesn't talk about the Bible. That said, It's understandable that people would not want anyone thumping their bible at them but GET REAL. All laws are based on morality. There is a defined code in Christianity, some get it others don't. Bashing on someone because they have a faith is stupidity.

  • He may be the best man for the job, but murder is not a States rights issue, neither is abortion or homosexuality

  • @TheChaseair Murder IS a states issue. Homosexuality isn't an issue. If you were revering to gay marriage: government should get out of the business of marriage.

  • I like Ron Paul, but the truth is, if you can not be moral without the Bible telling you to do something then you are a scumbag.

  • @streetmagicstyle A "scumbag"? Judge ye not.

  • blackthisout . com

  • Ron Paul is NOT for GAY marriage or Drugs!!! THE MEDIA TWISTED IT AGAINST HIM!!! HE SAID that these type of issues should be left to the STATES!! THAT IS ALL HE EVER SAID!!! GET IT STRAIGHT!!! Find out the TRUTH and stop lying about him!!!!! He is a Christian man, go look at his website. He said he doesn't bring it up in politics because he thinks people that do that are trying to use it for political gain, like the others. He tries to do it by lifestyle and example.

  • Ron Paul ! :)

  • Another HOMERUN by Jack Hunter!

    'Nuff said!

  • @tridentmovies The point of my comment was to make clear that Ron Paul's foreign policy need not find its basis in the bible for it to be good. It's the same secular understanding of military force that Jefferson had. If Dr. Paul's foreign policy is -based- in Christianity then he IS dictating religious views via his political power and that is -wrong-. He shouldn't be referencing his religion as a premise in a political argument.

  • @valaraj What does it matter? If it's the right thing to do, it doesn't matter if it comes from faith or not. It's not like Dr. Paul references his faith often. He is the guy that wants to legalize drugs, gay marriage, etc, not exactly a typical stance for pro-life Christians. I'm thrilled to death we have someone like him, and don't care if he is a devout Christian or didn't practice religion at all.

  • Our foreign policy does not fulfil the Christian just war theory. Ron Paul exempifies true Christian principles and the teaching of the messiah as in Matt 7:12. We as a nation ought to try following Christ instead of a bunch of war mongering tel-evangelists. God Bless you Dr. Paul and all the real Christians who are for peace.

  • @lexrex3 "our foreign policy does not fulfill the Christian just war Theory." This is true, we're actually leaving people alive...god wants us to utterly destroy them all..."Go and destroy Amelek, show them no mercy. Kill all men, women, children, babies, and all beasts of the fields..." 1 Samuel 15:3

  • @CelticAlphabet: "god wants us to utterly destroy them all..."

LOL. You really are a moron. Do you see any Amalekites around? Are you Saul? Do you know the difference between 'descriptive' and 'prescriptive'?

  • @CelticAlphabet Your right, there is some pretty brutal stuff in the bible. Ron Paul is the true peace candidate. Ron Paul 2012.

  • This is good stuff, but it shouldn't always require someone's religious beliefs to figure out what is right and wrong. Especially regarding something so fundamental.

  • I am anti religion but if you are going to claim to be a christian at least really follow what you are claiming to believe.

  • I wish he wouldn't refer to the bible. I want him to lead, but he needs to stop refferencing christianity, he's a politician and it should be irrelevant.

  • @Oregun89 He was at the Value Voters Summit. He practically never wears his faith on his sleeve.

  • hermin cain getting beat up on mnbc right now on 999

  • Every other candidate is a zionist puppet who cares first about Israel and only then USA.

Any American who doesnt vote for Ron Paul is to blame for millions of lives outside the US. USA should protect its borders from illegal citizens not fight wars for Israel. Isreal is an illegal state with illegal nuclear weapons who has broken dozens of human rights laws.

    VOTE RON PAUL

  • Posted on Ron Paul Flix - the Ron Paul video site.

Thumbs up if you came here from FLIX!

  • Why are 75% of the related videos on the sidebar, by that sad bozo noimplant4me?

  • His foreign policy is rational, non-intervention. As an atheist I respect his line of thinking. But he really disappointed me with rejecting evolution. His stance on abortion is antiquated but I know he isn't against birth control so I can let that slide for more important matters. Really wish he would trail blaze a third party. I feel like he could rip open a political space that would immediately attract a lot of ideas.

  • @valaraj

His religious views are personal and he does not want government dictating them to others. If you understand liberty - which is what Ron Paul is about - then you understand that as RP cannot and should not impose his views on others, neither should liberals, which they ARE doing currently and have been for decades. There are conservative libertarians like RP and there are liberal libertarians. As long as neither feels their own values should be imposed they are libertarians.

  • @valaraj The 3rd party thing is not a viable option in this country, at this time. I witnessed it 1st hand in my state in 2010 trying to get the Libertarian slate on the ballot. They have different rules and much later deadlines for 3rd parties other than Dems and GOP. The Green Party, and Constitution party went through the same B.S.

You basically have to collect 2.5 times more signatures, which they challenge until September, leaving you two months to campaign.

  • you can't help but wonder what he'd do as president based on his policy standpoints

  • What a beautiful speech... now if we could only believe a politician's words, as I've done and been disappointed so many times in the past. Politicians work for the United States, a corporate entity - so maybe Paul doesn't owe his diligence to us.

  • @westernciviliznation Ron Paul is a Politician you can trust, the only politician you can trust. He has been saying the same thing for thirty years. He isn't bought by lobbyists or any special interests. He is honest. He is legit. Vote Ron Paul 2012

  • @Silverlin212

Correction. Ron Paul is a STATESMAN, not a politician. Big difference. Otherwise, thumbs up!:)

  • @blank557 I stand corrected. Ron Paul 2012!!

  • "Did he just say blessed are the cheese makers?"

    Sorry I couldn't resist.

  • @theyeti101101 Well, Switzerland does seem to be prospering very well. Maybe they're on to something with the very good cheese they make.

  • I'm not a Christian (anymore) but this is beautiful.

The idea of Peace should transcend whatever you believe or don't believe.

  • @theyeti101101 Absolutely. Seek Peace and respect all men. Love your neighbour as yourself. Because of these simple principles in Christianity people from all around the world respected our Nation, irregardless of their faith or heritage. Boy, how the times have changed. Integrity and respect for the rights of others have sure gone away in the vast cities of this once great and admired Nation.

  • Jesus did actually claim deity. He said in the gospel of John "before Abraham was I AM" using the same terminology God used defining his own name to Moses back in exodus

  • Well I don't know how someone can read the bible and ignore all the nasty parts like he just did, but as long as he cherry picks the parts that support his view and doesn't start taking it literally he's got this atheist's vote.

  • Comment removed

  • @BigNeonGlitterGirl Cheers 2 the doctor!!! : )

  • God my vote!

  • my vote too

  • Am I the only one laughing at the related videos saying "Ron Paul slanders christians"?

  • If the warmongering neo-cons can let someone like Herman Cain win straw polls and take the lead then Ron Paul doesn't have a chance. But damn it I'll still vote for him.

  • A Politician using Religion to promote himself? What year is this...? 1700's, 1800's?

  • @jatigre1

This was a speech to a Christian audience at the Values Voters Summit.

  • I'm an atheist, but Jesus and Ron Paul are both right on this issue.

    Yay, Ron Paul!

  • Also, do good to them that hate you. Do not repay evil with evil. Love your enemies. No more of these war mongering pro-lifers. The value voters got the message, although the Politburo protested the vote bitterly in the lame-stream media. No more wars! Support the troops: vote for Ron Paul.

  • Well not particularly religious, but I'll say what he said, sounded like some common sense to me.

  • I'm an atheist, but Paul's faith is no business of mine. He knows his audience. Good on him.

  • @lockwoodisafaggot Same for me. He's leagues better than any other candidate (with the exclusion of Gary Johnson. He's a good guy too).

  • does he sound strange in this speech to anyone else? Sounds like his tongue is numb or he bit his tongue. I am a big Ron Paul supporter and really enjoyed the speech. Just curious if anyone knows the story on his pronunciations.

  • @stevowillco84 I've noticed it too in another speeches/interviews. He might have dentures.

  • Like I care what Jesus thought about war. He was a hippie pacifist and his ideas were totally impractical. Sometimes you have to stand up and fight for what's right if you don't want evil people to run things. It's not a complicated concept. Jesus would just have us give in to evil and die, on the foolish notion that we might convince the evil people to stop being evil.

  • Actually I think he said, "blessed are the "cheesemakers."

  • What has Ron Paul said or done to counter the onslaught by feminists and governments against fathers and their children within the justice (sic) system? Links helpful.

(For those who are unaware of this onslaught—before any knee-jerk responses, read "Taken Into Custody: The War Against Fathers, Marriage, and the Family," by Stephen Baskerville for an accurate picture of our current situation. )

  • God bless you Ron Paul
