Taxes should pay for the police/firemen to show up. Taxes should not support peoples retirement. Taxes should not support peoples healthcare. My daughter attends a public school. Receiving Social Security? Like is that suppose to be a gift from the gov? Had my mom been able to take her own money for her retirement she would have a much higher standard of living than she does not living on the SS money that was hers to begin with.
