WOW,how professional the Indian film makers were, just watch carefully in the beginning of the song, Madhobala was fellen down in real but they didn't took a retake instead, they started the song right from that end which looked more natural and real.man i really impressed.very talented people they were.
now a days where is this type melody, lyrics, only for few days hear and forget, since 50/60 yrs these type songs long life - touch heart neve become bore thanks for upload.I always open you tube and only old songs, Vipin-New York.
When will we Indians stop comparing ourselves with a western (read white) celebrity? That's second-class mentality. Ever heard any western actor being compared to an Indian one? We don't have to settle being glorified copies, we can be originals.
@ramaraksha01 Very well said!! Most Indians can't get out of this mentality. For the same reason, they can't stop comparing anything Indian with things western or for that matter, feel ashamed of things Indian unless some western contemporary praises the same. Sad, really!!
@adityabose26 thank u - that's why i refuse to use that silly name they use for the Hindi movie industry. Why wag our tails to the west? Will the Sindhi film industry call itself Sillywood? How about an Indian name for our Hindi movie industry - like filmistan or something?
@ramaraksha01 You are referring to a minority of westernized Indians who view themselves as little more than western slaves; whether they themselves understand it or not. एक आम हिन्दुस्तानीके लिए, गाँवमें बसनेवालोँके लिए, अँग्रेज़ोका न कोई वजूद था, न कभी होगा। धन्यवाद।
@justaname5 I do hope they are a minority. The problem is poverty - many of these slave like people feel they are inferior due to skin color & also when they see the poverty. All they can think is what will the white man think of us etc. Well, 250 yrs ago India was a rich country-we amounted to 20-25% of the world's GDP. Then came the white man. In 200 yrs the British took a 100+ million people from riches to utter poverty - our GDP down to 1-2%! Yet slaves don't hate them, they have white skin!
@justaname5 That's why i dislike Anglo-Indians who act as if they are too good for India. There was a story recently in a magazine this old Anglo-Indian lady who lives in Calcutta, doesn't speak Hindi or Bengali, dresses & lives like she is in England! The English may be eating curry & convert to Hinduism or become Atheist but this old slave will live like it is the 18th century england. I am glad that most of them are out of India.
Having finished composing Lata's voice what must have been a complex task, Almighty had a further idea .....to create another magic. Each feature was carefully carved to avoid even a subtle error of construction ...and the result was Mudhubala. She is stunning and still remains on top. Bless her soul.
