  • Thomas,magnificent,words can't say enough!!!

  • I particularly enjoy the way Mr. Murray held a tone with his second finger while playing a melody on another manual with his 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers. And such a wonderful instrument to play on!

  • wow you are super good!

  • Sophia, divine wisdom, and the beauty of the entire Cosmos flows over me when I listen to this music. Grounded on Earth, all we can do is admire the endless flow of the clouds, but something more calls us. We are not meant for this land, but another. =)

  • TOM: YOU ARE THE GRATEST IN THIS ART !!

    Congratulations!! ---Rafael F.

  • SO beautiful--player & instrument!

  • One of the most inspiring performances I've ever heard.

  • such a fantastic piece, and its most certainly not easy

  • Oh it certainly is!! - It's SUBLIME in it's simplicity!!

    The transcription is transcendent!

Don't confuse the technical demands of playing this with the utterly amazing simplicity of the actual piece.

  • Actually it is . . It's no harder to play technically than many pieces as far as the basic fingering. The devil of difficulty however, is in the immensely musical way which he plays it ;-)

  • One of the finest organists on one of the finest organs Ernest Skinner ever laid hands on!

  • One of America's finest organist is Thomas Murray! We should treasure every recording and performance! How wonderful!

  • Wonderful technique, magnificent interpretation of just one of the underappreciated masterpieces by Schumann. The poor man thought his legacy lie in his B.A.C.H. fugues.

  • Lovely, nice mellow tone...

  • Wonderful

  • I would love to see is what exactly is going on down there on the pedalboard at a couple of points . . The worst part part for me is seeing really how simple this piece is, but knowing how impossible it would be to play it anywhere nearly as well . .

  • Dare I be presumptuous enough to say that I bet E.M would approve?

  • Such beauty...... It can calm even the most tense mind.

  • Simply marvelous, incomparibly beautiful and flowing music.

  • The Master!

  • I love watching him play . .

  • Very beautiful. The organ can sound harsh in some pieces, but this definitely brings out it's gentler qualities.

  • Thanks Joe . . .
