Wow thank God for VH1 Soul. I'm in my mid 30's and I'm so glad I was around to witness the birth of hiphop and the evolution of r&b. This generation has no idea what they missed out on. Before we sold out and compromised our soul, self respect, and common sense for a few dollars black music was filled with depth and sincerity from skilled musicians & singers. This song came out in 94, but it has a very new jack swing sound, which went out around 92, 93. Could be why it wasn't as big a hit as it should have been. But I don't care b/c it's a wonderful song and I am a HUGE fan of Erro and new jack swing!
