  • Also see the Steve Maxwell pistol progression article on his blog. It helps people train to achieve their first pistol from the bottom up, rather than top down as in most progressions. Steve is the man!

  • @josesolis24, Airborne leg does not have to be dead straight. As long as the heel is not touching the ground and giving you momentum from the other leg, having a bend in the leg is no big deal.

    ive used this variation to get people over the fear of falling that is associated with the pistol. works like a charm
