Five stars to this one. Yesterday I tryed it out, playing the melody on guitar, while I played back a rythm guitar I had pre-recorded on the computer. It worked OK I think. I'll try to do a couple more tunes that way. Maybe this tune again, on the mandolin.
Thanks for the comment. I would be more than happy to email you the actual backup track for this tune on the instructional cd I have. Just let me know!
Thank you. It could be fun to try it out. And a bit of a challenge. I don't know if I can play it that fast. It will take some practice.
How do I send you my e-mail address, so it is not visible to everybody? You might try the link to my website on my profile. There's a Contact page, you can mail me from.
@billton12 Great playing, I played a slightly different version, until today I've just adopted your version by far the best I've heard yet, keep up the good work.
I'm interested in the backing track.....you could just post the backing track as a video on here.... ;)
Thanks friend. I really enjoy your jam sessions you have posted, Reminds me of when I was a kid and Dad would take us to go play music at our neighbors.
Fine picking -- you must be a mind reader I was going to put up a version too in a day or so -- I probably still will but I think I'll pair it with Fiddler's Dram and Temperance Reel. Good work.
Man the style and ease you play this mandolin give me goose bumps, specially the old jigs and reel just awesome.
Can you tell me how you set your background music to chord you.
Regards.
