@SuzukiGuitar57 Agreed. I browsed this video while comparing the right mid-arm position between Bream and Vidovic. My tendency is to secure the guitar with a fair amount of pressure, as Vidovic does. Bream appears to have a freely floating position. This artist seems to be steady, yet maintains freedom of movement.
I guess you can't start at your goal; it's a journey.
okie so i see all this talk of guitars the only thing that is realy importatn is to get a guitar that first of all feels good in your hands and also that sounds good to YOU not to whoever is with you because no guitar sounds the same buy something to your likeing. if you dont youll most likely not want to play it and lose intrest
So much care for each and every note. Great tone production. Lyrical. Musical. No useless speed obsession here. Just great sound and playing. Just wonderful all around.
It's especially difficult to learn guitar in China because guitars are too expensive. A spruce top Spanish guitar will cost 4000 to 30000 dollars, and when changed to Chinese money "Yuan", $4000 would be close to ¥30000. That's more than a whole year's income of a family for more than half of the Chinese population. Sad
Yeah, huge difference, maybe. But to somebody else, maybe it's not that huge. I agree with what you said, but to me, while playing a bad guitar, I lost all my desire to continue. It's my problem, which might be shared by some other lazy people like me. In principle, @@@@@, but in reality, ######.
If we are talking "To Learn Guitar",it certainly not about the guitar's price
we do not need to buy a 4000~30000 dollars guitar TO LEARN GUITAR.Many experts also not using the 30000 dollars so called top guitar. For beginners, some cheap and nice guitar like Yamaha C/CG series which in range of 200 to 1000 dollars.Myself as a part time street-performer using an old guitar which i bought around 2000 dollars from 2ndhand shop
Don't let money as an excuse to stop you going on your way of music.
Well,I know exactly how poor a $500 guitar sounds. And if no one buys $4000 guitars, where to find second hand ones.. After all, meaningless topic. One can argue that people who REALLY want to learn guitar can use just a $5 rubbish to practice finger work and I totally agree . But I'm not that kind of avid player, I need the beautiful sounds coming out from my fingers to keep me go on. Maybe my understanding of music is wrong, lol~ But I can not appreciate a complex finger work with poor sound.
I posted this because I believe that if she was using a better piece, the result would be very different. I have an impression, which may be very wrong, that the sound of this guitar damaged this performance. Suddenly I remembered the very poor guitar my friend and I played when we were undergrads who were as poor as the guitar. Sweet memory.
However, really hardworking kids can create miracles. I'm not one of them~ I need a good guitar to "seduce" me to practice, ^_^~

Its a shame because i take lessons and although there are quite a few girls, I can tell only a few actually enjoy classical music, or playing the guitar for that matter. I would enjoy seeing many more girls interested in this. Why they do not I'm not quite sure?

very nice, the lighting is a bit distracting from a great performance. that guitar sounds amazing, what's the maker and model if you don't mind me asking?
Very nice. I love that piece. I have heard Filomena Moretti and Julian Bream do it too. Excellent job. Where can I find the sheet music? Is it available? Cheers.

Asian girls have more delicate characters, they can sense very subtle change of emotions. Maybe not only for girls but in general. That's why now the world famous Asian guitarists they are playing mostly classical and romantic music, rarely contemporary music, because that's their personality, really different from European people. If don't believe me then find your self an Asian girlfriend and experience it by yourself.

i agree, but the man responsible for the final solution to the Jewish question was Reinhard Heydrich, super intelligent, very athletic, very competitive, an excellent fencer, super cruel and a virtuoso violinist!! with a lot of soul! even mass murders can be very talented, his father had written many pieces Bruno Heydrich {had a music conservatory in Hamburg}

haha, well if your parents would beat u sensless unless you were awesome at playing the guitar, then i think youd be pretty good at it too. lets give a round of applause for abuse!..it really does move mountains it seems
50% true :-) My Mom would whip me if I got stubbornly lazy doing my homework but very few Asian parents would consider musicianship as a serious career . Hope that has been changed . Regards .
Well, at my look she don´t give a sign of don´t liking playing such a music.
Man, you don´t know what is to play music! The feelings that we get on it... AND she is passing me this feelings when she plays. It´s a hard work to pass the feelings of the music when you play it. Generaly it just happens when you are playing whit "your heart".
She's asian, what's so supprising about it. Any asian can do that... They can also kick your ass at any videogame, kick your ass literally with crazy martial arts, and draw/paint/write ten thousand times than you ever will be able to. Asians are like the starbucks of humans. Monopoly/owns all.
Absolutely superb!

Generaly it just happens when you are playing whit "your heart".

hey, that's true that asian girls are the best for classical guitar, don't know really why (if someone can explain), but it's a fact...

She's asian, what's so supprising about it. Any asian can do that... They can also kick your ass at any videogame, kick your ass literally with crazy martial arts, and draw/paint/write ten thousand times than you ever will be able to. Asians are like the starbucks of humans. Monopoly/owns all.

Fantastic. Amazing what you are doing here, particularly with such small fingers. That neck looks huge! Really enjoyed this performance. Thank you.
