All the baseball players and football players who've watched him play have called him the greatest athlete they've ever seen. He's was also a 60m NCAA champion sprinter, a heat which had several medal winning olympians in it. Deion didn't CHOOSE to excel at football, he wanted to be just as good in baseball but just couldn't hit, throw or run like Bo. And he was 40-50lbs heavier.No contest

Let's get this straight Deion was the fastest without a doubt. No one could beat him and when he had the ball no one could catch him. We all know Bo Jackson was good but Barry Sanders was better. And Deion was way more athletic than Bo wishes he could be. Bo should get a world series ring then he can talk. Deion was and still is the only true shutdown corner of all-time. He may not have been a good tackler but he didn't really need to.

As for who's faster, I'm not sure Deion was faster, just listening to NFL players talk about Bo and watching him just out run DB's. Even if Deion was a hair faster, Bo was a hell of alot more powerful and larger so that adds to the mythology of Bo Jackson. Barry had the benefit of a fuller body of work. Remember, Bo was a baseball player first.

Deion of course was fast, but he got the angle on bo only cause he had to hesitate a step before he burst into the whole. But the amazing thing was the power and momentum at the end of the run, you can see his mass and acceleration just dragged the guys into the endzone. Amazing athlete, a shame he got hurt, but I think he's really well off money wise and is all set anyway.
