i have one of the best air cooling mods ever i have a laptop cooler underneath with 2 mini fans on the side and a clocked ps2 to blow the hot air out of my cabinet and keep the door slightly open so it can create a vacuum which will suck cool air in on the 360 plus i have a jasper

it looks like you have them the wrong way. o_o unless polarity is reversed and its pushing air into the system you should add another one next to the HDD pushing air in that would be were your problem is >GPU

@comanche119 No it's not. He has the fans in the right spot. Unless he has them backwards. You want air to go in through the bottom. That's how it is designed and you want to have it laying down at all times.

@0indigo0 Because people think that adding more fans will keep it cooler. All you have to do in not have the power brick on the xbox or near it because it generates a lot of heat and as long as you have it laying down not standing up because the air intake is on the bottom. The gray piece that this guy has his fans on. Although he probly has them blowing out. And also if you keep the xbox in an open area it wont over heat.

Something thats wrong with the fans on the side is it's not doing too much work, I have a HUGE Filter fan thing concentrated to the xbox's side and it feels no different, the fans on the back should help tho. any tips on what I should do about my giant fan or what I could do to the xbox so it's better airflow

Good idea. I use a Argos book instead of 4 block. Its kinda the same thing and I have had the Xbox 360 for a year now and no problems.

i would just buy a whisper max fan (led fan) and then a computer fan with matching leds. these get installed on the inside so your xbox don't look like crap. opening your xbox voids your warranty, but if you have have half a brain and watch videos on youtube about disassembly and assembly, you shoud be gud.

lol i took 12 nickles taped them up into 4s laid my xbox down put them up the grip pads so it is practicly in air it is a massive difference in heat coming out the back laying flat and being proped up

Nothing un safe about what this guy has done. All his wiring is insulated. Simple to do. 2x12V fan usually between .23 and .30 mA. Hooked up to a transformer that steps down the voltage and kicks out about 500mA will do the job just nicely. Soldered up in parellel, insulated with electrican tape and jobs a good one.
