The guy who cut open the basketball had the card in his left hand, you notice while david is telling him to be careful 100 times that the guy with the knife has his left hand slightly in his pocket then there is a two second window of time where is hand goes from his pocket to the side of the basketball the camera can't see, so he can hold the ball while he cuts it with his knife in his right hand. Everybody is in on the trick, maybe except the camera man. lol

look how perfect the card is, no way it was forced into the ball just couldnt be done, the only explenation is that the guy was helping him and it was rehearsed

He obviously "forced" the guy to pick a card identical to the one already placed inside the ball, but it takes a lot of skill to make someone take a particular card from the whole deck. If you watch carefully, Blaine touches a card with his thumb while offering the pack to the guy. This subtle hint is the "force". That's one way of doing the trick. Another is to have 52 cards that are all exactly the same. Blaine might have done this, but at some point he'd have to swap that deck for a normal 1.

put a duplicate cad ( 7 of spades in the ball) use a force to get the second 7 of spades selected, throw the deck, hope it donw land face up, cut the ball - duplicate card in the ball. simpless

*how i think he did it* he memorized what order the deck was in, and when the guy picked his card he already knew which 1 it was, so all he had to do was throw them up, and "hopefully" his card wouldn't land face up. Then out of the 4 balls, 1 of them would probably have his card. (balls already had a card in each of them...) then he just had some1 cut it open and find out that he remembered which 1 it was.
