  • AWESOME

  • You're great!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know if it's a style, or a way people are taught but I think it looks really weird posting STRAIGHT up.

  • Jumping sucks normal english ridding is 100 times better

  • aww, you so lovely with your hands:)

  • Lol!thats my horse now:P Billy<3

  • Good. Try to stay strong in your 2-point. You look like a smooth rider. (:

  • cute pony!

  • @MrPopleFun hey, i own thathorse now:P

  • so cute well done!

  • I remember when I did that....nearly 2 years ago...

  • Very good job! You have theeee cutest pony ever.

  • @DayumHesHawt its not her pony he's mine

  • @GoForShophie i dont really care who owns her im just saying shes cute!

  • haha lol! keep it up! and thumbs up if u saw a horse in the backgroung lying down in the field! xx

  • I''d been riding only 2 months when i started jumping and my first compeition was after 4 months riding I got firsts and seconds!! Im not trying to boast but just saying that with hard work and a good natural balance you can do anything :)

  • Your Sterups look a little bit long, or maybe its just because your on a smaller horse, but either way good jobb c:

  • hahaah lol the first time i jumped was on my horse that had never jumped before

    and th6is is h6ow i learned

1/ trotting over poles 3 times

    2/ trotting5 over a x 1 time

    2/ time for a vertical!!

all in one day my trainer is h6ard core!

  • Thats such a nice arena.... -.- Im jealous.

  • You did great and 7cowgirl1, I tottaly disagree. She did FANTASTIC!

  • That's sort of trainer error when they're having you actually jump on your first lesson...You need to learn the fundamentals of jumping and position by starting over ground poles and working your way up..We had new riders come to our barn that were jumping very large jumps at their old barn, but my trainer made them start from almost the bottom because they had no idea what they were doing other than just being thrown over jumps all their riding career.

  • where is this

  • well done, I think your a great rider and remeber there is always something new to learn with horses and jumping is one of them. The pony you are riding is absolutly lovely I adore his colour!!!!!

  • ur great i carnt wait to jump in the summer ;)<3

  • that was so good :)

  • u call that jumping wheres the posting when shes going into the jump her arms need to keep still it looks like she pushing up on her pony's neck to post

  • @7cowgirl1 its her first time, she isnt used to where she has to hold her weight up. Some riding instructors suggest to use the horses neck as support for the first few lessons to get used to where your body has to go.

  • @7cowgirl1 it's her first time and she's still learning no one's perfect on their first try I know I wasn't and you probably weren't either and like fluffayboots said some instructors have you use the horse's neck as support until you get used to the position and bye the way you look great for your first time littlemisswolf!

  • aw that pony is so genuine!

  • finally a first timer that TROTS the jump no one should be cantering over it if you cant freaking jump

  • You look very good for your first jumping lesson!!!! I'm impressed, I didn't look this good my first time!

  • tip. i know its your first time bit keep your hands a little higher and fix your feet but it was so good for your first time :)

  • looks really good :D

  • you did wonderful! i about fell off when i first jumped!

  • Comment removed

  • That pony is absolutly gorgeous !! x

  • At first I thought it was a bounce until I finally noticed the poles where on the ground and it was one jump... Great job for first time!

  • good job!!! little tip try to keep your hands a little higher :) it helps. but great job for your firt time jumping!!!

  • you should be proud of this you did a great job and you have a beautiful horse and a great position well done dont listen to all the nasty comments because there just jelous xx

  • dont listen to the haters!!! there used to be this lady that gave me lessons when my old trainer didnt show up and she would jump in a western saddle there is nothing wrong with having fun but she was sirious she was up in 2 point and everything!! lol

  • Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • also ur post wasnt perfect but thats what teachers are for to help u learn.duh i mean anyone knows that.i <3 it ur jumping skills would lok great at the canter.and i know that video was along time ago and ur better than that

  • Maybe just try to put your toes in the stirrup and not ur whole foot :) good jumping for a first timer and always keep ur heels down :)

  • gosh i know i loved it i havent done that yet i mean that calveletti and then croos rails ive just done crossrails.btw-i rode a really fast horse

  • When I first RODE, I pulled on their reins too hard and my horse hated it -_-

  • good job!

  • good jump but the horse i was riding wasnt that slow i was better

  • @dreamhorse110 Nobody really cares if you're better. The horse DID pick up some nice pace. Please, just keep the rude comments to YOURSELF!

  • @dreamhorse110 And i assume you're also the most beautiful person in the whole world and your pony is a perfect grand prix jumper and you've been to the olympics five times too!! congrats. you're conceited.

  • @RidingTemptation i dont have a horse and i can barly put on the girth and tighten it perfectly....im not the most popular kid at the schooland theres only 14 kids in the middle school..also im not very pretty ,i dont have a boyfriend,i dont have a phone or ipod touch or computer and im friends with alot of cool peopel that i personally dont know but, hey, there nice.

  • @dreamhorse110 I was making a point and i didn't actually mean that you actually had those things. What I'm saying it your a regular person like her and you shouldn't be so critical to others when you're not perfect either. before you judge other people that harshly, remember that you're not that perfect.

  • Everybodys a critic now days............

  • omg ur so good for your first jump! I sucked on my first jump ahahah

  • @EquestrianPride mee tooo

  • That's such a cute pony, and I LOVE the jodhpurs;)

  • awesome job for your first time!! Your pony, Billy is quite the cute pony! Good luck, and nice videos!

  • Really good for your first lesson! But your stirrups were uneven and what I would say way to short...

  • you can tell that she is a bit nervous coming into the jump, but it was an exelent first jumping lesson, on mine we jumped 2ft3 and i fell off :S

  • @Ang243l u jumped 2'2'' on your first jumping lesson???

  • @gallop2theend no i jumped 3inches on my first jumping lesson i jumped 2ft 3 3 months ago

  • That was amazing for your first time! Just two tips, try not to lean forward during transitions - remember to keep that straight back and just relax in the saddle - and also, remember the bend in your elbows - there should be a perfectly straight line from your ears, through the shoulders, through the hips and to your elbows. But this video was amazing! :) xx

  • very nice first jumping

  • Dear people commenting on riding,

I'm sure you are able to read, it does say jumping LESSON. She is there to learn. Most people don't come out of the womb cantering and jumping six foot.

  • @sellyelly101

When you said, she is there to learn..can they not give her tips or something? Sorry

  • plz can i use this clip? i'll give u credit! and congrats! x

  • I wasn't allowed to jump until I had my trotting diagonals perfect every time...

I doubt the two times you had it right were even on purpose.

Nice jumping though, looks like that school has a really nice layout too!

  • @GainingBananas omg me too i thought i was never goingt o canter and jump.ps-ive been doing it for a year and i still do it a trot sometimes a canter though

  • Very nicely done! :)

  • Beautiful Horse

  • Lovely job! I love the way you were careful of your pony's mouth!

  • the main thing is to jump at the first hour with a weymouth

  • When I get to my First Jump..... It's going to be worse then that XD Not saying that that is bad or anything. I probly couldn't do better...

  • THIS IS REALLY GOOD WAIT TILL YOU GET TO CANERING OVER HIGHER JUMPS YOU AND YOUR PONY ARE GOING TO BE PERFECT!!!

  • OMG your stirrups are in horrible position and you didnt fix it until like the 3rd jump...either your horse trainer sucks or you just dont listen.

  • @LilDiver77 Did you know that comments like this hurt people? You are very rude to say this. OMG did you know how annoying and mean you sound? I bet you did. Either your personality sucks or you don't ever think before saying something. :/

  • @foxglory123 i flagged the comment as spam hah

  • @LilDiver77 Give her a break it's her first jumping lesson and i am sure her trainer is wonderful! :) how would you like it if someone said this to you?

  • @LilDiver77 for god sake if you havent got anything nice to say dont say anything at all this was her first jumping lesson so their going to have to keep adjusting the stirrups until she finds a comftable length !!! leave her alone and stop putting pointless comments on peoples walls who dont care what you think!

  • @LilDiver77 Be nice it was her fist time jumping ya so it wasnt perfect but nobody is perfect my 1st time jumping wasint perfect i bet YOUR 1st time jumping wasnt perfect so give her a break jeezzzzzzzz

  • She was AWESOME for her first jumping lesson!

  • Great for the first time! One thing (as advice, not being rude) ur feet are way to far in stirrup because (god forbid) u fall ur feet wont come out of the stirrups and u will get dragged or seriuosly hurt.

  • you stirrups are wayyyyy to short even for jumping and it looks like one is shorter then the other and is making u unbalanced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheHorseygurl101 This is her FIRST jumping lesson, think a little!

  • @SweetHillsStable i didn't say she wasn't doing well for a first jumping lesson she is really good!!!!!!! i was just pointing out that one stirrup was shorter than the other!!!!! geesh i WASN'T trying to insult her...

  • Well done your a lovely little ridder and youve got a nice little horse aswell how old are you hunn ?? x

  • Any shorter her knee's will be at the wither!! , Awesome first time!! :D

  • I think you should make your stirrups a little bit shorter, but brilliant!

  • Im jealous! So googd for ur first lesson!

  • your brilliant!!!

  • Uhhh.. I know it;s your first jumping lesson and all but you should be ready to jump before you do. You need to sit back and keep you heels down. Your stirrups are sooo short.. And you're kinda big for the pony..

  • why do you have a bit like that on your first jumping lesson? 1:51

  • no offense or sumthing but ya look to big for tht pony:/

  • @horsegurl256 That's what I was thinking...

  • @horsegurl256 i think it was like a schoolmaster pony or something...that's usually the only reason barns put riders on ponies that are so small, so they can learn

  • Guys the title CEARLY says FIRST JUMPING LESSON, so stop picking at everything thats wrong!!! I thought she was great, for a first timer!

  • @horseyhailey Well said!!!

  • @gwendogxx Thank ya!! :P

  • @gwendogxx Thanks

  • way to tall for that pony

  • it looks like ur stirrups are a little long

  • @Horsedreamer121 actually her knees are very bent so i disagree

  • @madamlizard i actually meant to say to short

  • mayb add music...

  • Just a little advice try and keep your stirups on the ball of your feet it makes it easier to get your heel down.

  • U LOOK LIKE A PRO fo ur first time jumpig =)

  • some tiny bit of advice: keep your heels down. at 0:40 its pretty clear to see that your toes are pointing down and trust me you can lose your balance SUPER easily like that. when my instructor catches me w/ my heels up, she stops the horse and yanks my heel down lol

you should also get billy into a trot before the turn around the corner; you know, more time for him to judge the distance (tho there is not really need for that here) and for you to get ready, etc.

  • stop kicking billy and it would be awsome great jumping

  • @nintendogslover1000 She has a coach there and the coach is seeing that. Perhaps thats the only way Billy will jump and he needs that. My pony need lots of kicks to wake him up. All I'm saying is don't comment saying things like that when you don't know the whole story. Every horse, rider, and coach is different.

  • good job for your first time!

  • pretty good for your first time
