If they make kids with someone who doesn't have recessive eye color genes then no you won't see the blue eyes, but the children of Joe and kathrine all have the recessive eye color gene of their father. Who they procreat with decides the chances of the recessive eye color appearing in the next generation.

If you get a blue eyed gene from one & Brown from the other - you have brown eyes & carry the recessive blue gene -Bb. ALL their kids EQUALLY are be Bb (brown eyes, carrying recessive blue). If a blue from each parent you have blue eyes -shown as bb. Joe is bb, & lets say Katherine is BB (she could be Bb since both BB and Bb have brown eyes).

Chances btw aren't gauranteed statistics. 25% doesn't mean 1 in 4 kids MUST have blue eyes. It doesn't mean if they have 8 kids, 2 must have blue eyes. Get it?

So true, plus I have a Latina mother and a Black father. Both have dark hair and brown eyes. Me and two of my older siblings came out light-skinned, brownish-blondish hair, and hazel eyes. But, you can tell we have Black in us, due to our coarser hair. My younger sibling came out darker with brown eyes. And even if he did come out light like me. You could still tell he had Black in him due to his curlier hair, again.
