Thank goodness Shirley Bassey wasn't going to retire or else we wouldn't have had Get The Party Started, The Living Tree or any of the beautiful songs on her recent new album "The Performance". May Dame Shirley NEVER retire!! Her voice is STILL going strong and as long as her fans love her songs and as long as new quality material is presented to her she should sing until "the final day" (those words from the song The Performance). I hope she cut another album for us soon with some new songs!
