Once again, AWESOME audio and video! at 0:40, the way it arches aloft only to land and explode following a ghostly screeching...haha...just AWESOME! Got to tell my friends about this one! Thank, E!
@rovingrepairbot Famous mythbuster quote;)) Now ive seen your christmas special, and i must admit, it was frustrating for me to see the ignorant look of that employee, id kick him into 2015 if i had the chance;)
@101HAZCHEM The strobefuel needs to be pressed, like a whistle rocket, with a core. The strobe fuel from ammonium perchlorate are very shock sensitive and should never be pressed without a blast shield around the press.
haha i caught you using silicon mate great rockets didnt look like a failure from the states thought it was sputnik going past awesome strobe did you make stars also
your whistle booster is much to slow. Normally the strobe rockets have kick ass power until they start to strobe. all 4x7gr of whistle fuel, then strobe fuel to 6mm(1/4") above the spindle and then a little whistle drelay. Check our channel. We made some very fast whistle rockets.
Strobes and glitter effects are my favorite.. i get these strobe pits for $2.00 each and are made by Dakota pyrotechnics.. talk about getting your money's worth, they emit a series of bright flashes timed about 2-3 flashes per second followed by a slight pause and this repeats for about 60 seconds... thats a bummer about this fail but practice makes perfect now !

How do you get the strobe effect without the rocket blowing up?

@skyisthelimitinc Sorry I meant when the rocket is going how do you get it to make that strobe affect without it destroying its self.
101HAZCHEM 9 months ago
@101HAZCHEM Hehe ok, check out strobe rockets, its easier to read about it in a forum or so.
Quick explain: the strobe fuel is only a small section in the rocket, and when its pressed with a core, it will burn controlled.

Nice ones! I like the strobes very much. They've got a nice frequency :)
As for the last one...looks like it didn't hit the limit :P

@PyroCreationZ A un detected leak in my press, but i followed the specs on the comp, it still seems to me its too much strobe fuel in there

@yellowgroove 2 bucks, well seems cheaper then bying the ammonium perchlorate, sulfate MgAl and making it self, the 2 failures was under pressed.

@bloodtrack12 Agree, they was not pressed to the specs, to little pressure.
