As a fan of both bands I feel I must say that Vedder can't hold a candle to Pollard as far as songwriting, lyrics, and singing ability goes. There isn't even a comparison. The worst Pollard song is still probably better than "Betterman", although I think that "Do The Evolution" and "Pivotal Film" would sit nicely side-by-side on a mixtape.
