As much as I hope this technology advanced, the current state is still a joke....

Why you can't do an extra 20km/h to reach standard motorway speeds of 120km/h is very questionably. Worse is if you Drive 3h on the motorway you have to wait 8h until the thing is recharged, providing you find a plug.... so in the end you can't travel more than 150km from home, while the car is more expensive than most others... it's just not competetive

I think auto makers should pool their resources and develop a standardized battery that would work in any vehicle. Much like batteries for electronic goods. I realize that auto batteries are heavy, but if a way could be found to break the up into smaller units, then drivers could simply change batteries at a service station instead of and 8 hr charge time.

It gets good gas mileage because air won't touch it either. Unless you're taking this cross-country (and why would you want to?) I can't see why squeezing out every ounce of air drag makes much sense since most of these cars are going to be used in urban areas where you can't get up much speed anyway. I do like the rear view monitors. Means I can watch the couple in the car behind me arguing.... then all I'd need is a parabolic microphone and I'd be set.
