Chris Murphy is a big jerk. Fancy that loser stepping in and detailing how 'offended' he was at JD's comments.

He looked so passionate and loved what he did yet all he was was a 'contract'. Pity Murphy and all his 'clicky' INXS boys kept his dream alive by keeping him on the website as their lead singer.

This 'contract' that you jerks so unceremoniously dumped kept you guys on tour nearly double the time originally intended.

JD personifies RnR...who remembers the first singer of AC/DC?...Or are the songs you have come to love from his "replacement"?...I was in the ERA or as I say "back in my day"...lol...of the original INXS...Hutchence and all...and I say why can't a great band go on with their careers...dang among the first releases of the "new and improved" INXS came shortly after I lost a man close to my heart ( love you Guy L) and my baby neice..."Afterglow" was such a healing song for me...thank you all

I'm glad that INXS moved on...It would be heartbreaking if those guys were sad forever, and didn't use those wonderful talents they possess. But, on the same token...I think JD is trying way too hard to fill Hutchence's shoes. They are HUGE shoes to fill, but he over-sings everything. And, how can we think of them as two different bands, when he's always singing Michael's songs?

Don't get me wrong...I do want to give JD a chance. I do hope that he gets more comfortable with things and becomes more natural. I love INXS....so, if this is the way they can continue, so be it. I will always support them.

Don't forget that INXS 5 original members are still a band & obviously want to be working with JD. Andrew Farris wrote or co-wrote many of those songs so if they still want to play them and the fans want to hear them, they should! It has nothing to do with respect. I don't think that JD tearing up in response to a crowd chanting his name-something that he's always dreamed of-is "overacting". He worked hard and suffered much on the road to achieving his dream. He has probably imagined a crowd responding to him like that it his entire life. How is it "overacting or overreacting" to respond emotionally to the realization of your life's dream? I personally think that it is his sensitivity and passion that are his greatest strengths.

There can hardly be a better choice for INXS vocalist-JD is talented and very, very handsome. But there is some posing in him, as if the fame and fortune came a bit too soon and he cant get used to it. A liiiittle bit of himility would suit him a little better. I love him anyway.:-)

JD is NOT TRYING TO BE MICHAEL!!! He is singing the old songs, so yes, they are singing the same melodies the same notes, but their voices differ-JD's is a bit deeper and richer-that does not make him a copycat. He doesn't need to be Michael,he's enough as he is.I think people miss Michael-we ALL do, but projecting the desire for Michael to be alive onto JD is unfair. Michael was Michael, and JD is JD, They are/were both great lead -men each in his own right.

I've seen INXS live twice, and I think they are the most amazing thing to have happened to music back in the day, and the best thing to happen by coming back into the limelight. This is a great video and really captures how down to earth JD really is and remains to be with all of this stardom. Great video!! love all of the clips, especially the clip of when everyone is chanting JD, and he really gets emotional. touched me. good job with it.

I think JD steps into the role pretty well, but the difference between Michael and JD are summed up by the last line. JD twist up (hams up) the end of "thanks for having us back" where Michael would have just said it in his cool, confident, and sexy way.

I saw INXS live last night Friday the 8th Luna Park. Thankyou JD for bringing the INXS sound back that has been missing since 1997. Big shoes to fill and you have filled them. Micheal would be looking down with aproval. You are the 6th member of 6 very talented musicans and my favourite band. So thanks
