  • Is it the welder that sucks, or the welder that sucks? LLLLoL

  • Is it the welder that sucks, or the welder that sucks? LLLLoL

  • Ive been researching one of these and something I dont understand is this. If you have to use a vacume or fan....dosent that kind of defeat the purpose of creating elictricity. I guess you could use solar but how do they configure them to run an automobile?

  • @KesslersCross its like a car u have to use some of the electricity u make to run the gasifier but some times u dont need a fan or vacume if its running an engine the engines vac press keeps the reaction going =3-

  • @xoxoXoieoxox Ohh ok I got ya I got ya. I have a 1982 Cj 7 Jeep that im wanting to run using a gasafier...but I havnt exactly figured that out yet either. I think im going to start by building it first, producing a flame, then trying to tie into the carb.Where you put the wood in for fuel, how far away does it have to be from the fire in the bottom chamer? The aim is not to burn the fuel right, just kind of cook it so to speak??

  • @KesslersCross well i can use a funny analogy a wood gasifier is just like a bong ignition is occurying but thers to much air for full combustion so the smoke hase a lot of fule left in it (thats right all u stoners are sucking down wood gas out of a wood gasifier and u didnt even know it lol =3-

  • @KesslersCross i guess to answer ur ??? its not realy a matter of distance but the types of filters u use to get the smoke clean =3-

  • @KesslersCross BTW if u live in the U.S. dont get caut driving it on the road its illeagal B\C ur not paying the road tax.. but i think i would still take my chaces =3-

  • @xoxoXoieoxox Oh man, great point...yeah, I think im going to do it anyways lol but thanks for the heads up!

  • @KesslersCross lol no prob =3-

  • Think about using a 12v blower. Solar panels are easy to build. You could then use the panel or a battery depending on the condition of your local power.

  • Good job brother. Did you split the propane tank in two and then place a wheel between the halves? If you oculd send me a diagram of that burn chamber setup that would be great. The idea of dipping the gas line into the water pail is great! I was planning on shooting the gas into the water and then re-collecting it at the top as it bubbles out (would cool and filter the gas), now I think I've changed my mind to your cooler idea, less worry of sealing.

  • this is a piece of scrap and your backyard is a scrapyard

  • A Dyson cordless vacuum would be perfect

  • if you dont have power your fcked. you dont need a vac

  • @MrAustin8585 if u use an engine that can run on gasoline and wood gas like i do u start the engine on gasolline then u syfen of some of the vac perss to start the reactor wen the reactor starts u slowly taper off the gasoline and add more wood gas untill ure runing on just wood gas no pump or vacume necesery

    =3-

  • I'm a little confused but it's still really cool! Keep it up!

  • what about useing wood chips from loggin residue

  • how much power at the output you gettin

  • pls help with my project i can`t get flamable gas

  • Very cool. Dude, you done wonders with that crappy welder. Hope you get the top of the line model you deserve.

  • i like your design. its very compact. how clean is the gas coming out of it would you say?

  • Great job!!Looks fine to me.Lets power the house

    or the car
